A nice game on cuba where the opponent spammed many prussian jaegers... he however did not use them too well and in sync with eachother. Although i had 2 artillery pieces, i was finding it hard to get their moneys worth. However through good cav use and a strong melee charge with my guards that caught a number of jaegers, i managed to achieve victory
I wubbed this replay, but I'll have to disagree with you on most of your points.
He took 8 jaegers, 4 guards and 2 uhlans, so it's not really fair to say that he was spamming while you were balanced with 7 guard units. If he spammed jaegers, then you spammed guards.
Also, I thought your artillery was useful. I liked how you tried to ferret him out of hiding and they did get some good shots off on him while he advanced.
Your cavalry may have charged a few of his jaegers, but their initial charge was into his stakes. Strangely, his uhlans beat you, which I'm used to seeing the opposite. I suppose you were weakened by his jaeger fire into your rear while you were engaged and that probably explains the loss.
At least I do agree that his downfall was his haphazard advance
