Medals

With the introduction of Gamereplays revamped medal system, we will now be handing out Medals to players who participate in our events! The two medals we will be handing out are the Tournament Winners Medal and the Tournament Participation Medal. To gain the Tournament Winners Medal, you just have to win a tournament. To gain a Participation Medal, you must participate in all rounds of the tournament until you are eliminated (this includes the 3rd place playoffs.)

Signing-up and checking in

You must be signed up by the time that sign-ups close (1 hour before the event is due to start). Once the sign-ups close, players have 45 minutes to check in for the event. We will make a separate forum topic for that purpose. You must check in. Players that have checked in will be added to the bracket, regardless of whether they are present when the event starts.

Please note commanders, letting someone else play in your name in an event is treated as cheating by gamereplays and will be punished accordingly. The fixed penalty for a first offence cheat conviction prescribed by the site rules is a 28 day suspension from gamereplays. The penalty for a second offence is a permanent ban. Take good notice that sharing account details with a banned member or player is likely to result in an indefinite suspension or permanent ban from C&C:Online. Don't do it!

Event Format

For this tournament we are will be adding players in groups of 4. Any player who is not included in a group of 4 will be put into the reserve lists until we get 4 players.

During this tournament players will be seeded into groups of 4. For each round, players will face each other in 3 games. After all games are played the 8 players with the highest score will be moved the semi finals. If there is a tie those players will play 1 match in an ffa to determine who moves on. During the semi-finals, the top 2 players of these games moving onto the next round. The top 2 players from these games will be placed into the brackets opposite them. So the top 2 players from game 1 will play against the top 2 players from game 4 while the top 2 players from game 3 will play against the top 2 players from game 2. This will continue all the way into the Grand Finals.
