After three and a halve years of hard work we have managed to install an automatch system into Kane's Wrath. To celebrate this feat we are also updating our ranked map pool.
The automatch system will work exactly the same as the Gamespy system and will have its own ladder system. Players will get the option to pick their faction or random plus their colour. Players will be matched with opponents who are close to their current ladder rank. If the wait time exceeds 5 minutes they will match vs any one.
Also included in this update is a brand new Ladder Ranked Map Pool. This ranked map pool will be exclusive to the Automatch system and will feature every one's favourite EA maps. However we are planning on revamping our whole ranked map system, this will be discussed in more detail below. These new ranked maps will be patched up to 1.02+ R12 so these maps will be bug free. Listed below are the new ranked maps.

As stated above we have also decided to revamp our ranked maps, starting from the 29th of February 2019 we will be removing all the current ranked maps from the system and will be using the maps listed above as the official ranked maps. We are doing this as we feel there are too many ranked maps (50+ including R11) currently and players are getting confused on what map to pick. By lowering it down to the 10 fan favourite maps we are allowing players to quickly pick their favourite map instead of spending 30 minutes switching between Tiberium Rift and Twisted Rift.
Our last bit of news today is in regards to the 2vs2 scene. The two most popular maps in 2vs2 are Redzone Rampage and Forgotten Forrest so we have decided to update Forgotten Forrest in the hopes it will increase the number of players in 2vs2. This new map is called Redzone Forrest. We have changed the map by adding the Redzone Rampage textures into the map. We have also swapped all of the starting fields to Blue Tiberium Fields. To make this map more interesting we have also moved the 2 contested fields so that they are on the north and south side of the map. We have also limited their growth so that they will only grow in a line across the map like Redzone. This new map will come along with the upcoming update.
