On Saturday, December 29th 2012,
GameReplays.org hosted the final
Kane's Wrath 1vs1 Tournament of 2012 on standard patch 1.02.
JCDoo7, as usual, managed all the proceedings. In the beginning of the tournament, we had 23 players that signed up for this event, and 20 players actually showed up, which includes: returning Kane's Wrath experts
Bonu$_[Ru] and
Technique, also players such as
bike-RUsh+ownz+,
stateoftheunion,
Green_ZERO,
SniPerFire, and
DaGyMaN.
Throughout the tournament, most of the Best-of-5 games went either a 3-0 win, or a 3-1 win until the Semi Finals, but a few Best-Of-5 games were played to the 5th match, for example: the Best-Of-5 game series between
HaRuSpex.ru and stateoftheunion went to a 5th and deciding game to see who will be in the Quarter Finals. After so much intense battling, stateoftheunion came out on top.
However, the player that rose over them all, was
bike-RUsh+ownz+, at the start of the tournament bike-RUsh+ownz+ seemed to have it easy with a free win in the Round-Of-32, and a 3-0 win over
That_Me aka
Good_Day_to_Die in the Round-Of-16 which put him in the Quarter Finals. In the Quarter Finals, bike-RUsh+ownz+ continued his undefeated win streak with a 3-0 win over
Tomber, and also went on to beat
eXs.iLLusion in the Semi Finals with another 3-0 win.
This amazing tournament came down to an amazing Finals, were we had bike-RUsh+ownz+ and legendary Kane's Wrath player Technique in a Best-Of-7 match up. After the 6 intense and nail-biting games. it was 3-3, both of our Finalist played the faction Black Hand through all 6 games, so they were forced to play a 7th and deciding game on the unranked map Barstow Badlands, where bike-RUsh+ownz+ took the final game, and became the Champion, winning the Best-Of-7 Series 4 games to 3.
