Hanzo
Hanzo
- Hanzo is pretty straight forward: You either aim well enough to gain a lot of kills or your can't even hit a target and you do nothing. Not a whole lot to talk about.
- Scatter Arrow can one-shot pretty much anyone unless they're a tank. It does a whopping 375 damage, if all five scattering arrow hit and reach their target. Even if it doesn't kill them, it will put a huge dent into their HP.
- Scatter Arrow: Fire it directly at someone's feet, but not too close to their feet, but literally a tiny bit in front of their feet. This will make all five scattering arrows hit.
- Shoot Sonic Arrow on to corners of rooms/buildings where you think/know enemies are camping to line up easy headshots.
- Keep Sonic and Scatter Arrow on cooldown. You need to be using both of these, a lot. Don't waste it, but don't hesitate to use it.
- Dragonstrike has a lot of potential, but often times you're lucky to get more than one kill with it, if you aren't combo-ing it with something like Zarya ult. That being said, if you don't have a a hero to combine with, or you do and their ult isn't close to being charged, spam out dragons. Dragonstrike charges very fast and chances are, you could have recharged it already by the time you see an opportunity. Use it and keeping using it with every opportunity.
- Go for headshots, which do 250 damage, meaning they will one-shot all non-tanks as long as they aren't buffed.
We consider Hanzo to be the most flexible hero in terms of positioning. You have to read what's most likely to kill you. He can excel at long range, but a Widowmaker will eat you if you try. You can get real close and line up easy head shots and scatter kills, but most offence heroes have ways of beating you. His most comfortable area is mid range, not as far back as Widowmaker but not in the fray. Another major tip is move around a lot. Don't stay in one place for too long. Shoot a few arrows and relocate. This keeps your positioning mysterious and you won't get caught out.
