After nearly 15 years stuck with the same old launcher (and its issues), Medstar and Cervanthes have finally completed Tacitus after just half a year of work (mostly Medstar’s work, as Cervanthes points out). But that's not all — C&C:Online staff has also rolled out a massive backend update that:

Officially supports all new game versions
Adds recognition & support for Generals Evolution and the One Vision mod
Addresses every possible edge case (staff IDEs tracked over 50 hours of work from Thursday night to announcement time!)

As for the TACITUS — it is the new and ONLY client for C&C:Online, completely replacing the old launcher.
