Final thoughts
I apologize for the length of this article, but is it any surprise that it managed to be nearly four times longer than Dan’s review of RA3 after all the lecturing I gave about being thorough?
Maybe someday we’ll see a turnaround in the quality of game reviews, and hopefully that quality will rub off the games themselves and the market that consumes them, but that won’t happen unless the demand for the garbage we’re fed, stops. I would hope that anyone who cares about the existence of gaming as a form of entertainment won’t tolerate reviews like Dan’s or any of the other half-assed reviews circulating the net on the larger press sites. Pass this article along to others, and maybe we can start fighting back against the current.
