Mendel and I played a very GG on infinity isle.I really thought i was gonna win, but all of a sudden it's a few skywings to the rescue.He was in luck i only had a bullfrog.GG mate!

This showcases how mediocre I can be against soviets. It is by far my most challenging matchup. I usually manage better vs allies and in mirrors. If I end up winning vs soviets, it was usually some kind of trick play or lack of scouting.

Here I can consider myself lucky to not find any migs and also not too many flak turrets to fail against

That said, skywings are way underrated as an air to land death machine. Basically, if it is an allied or soviet unit that shoots from land to air and if it is not a turret, then skywings will quite cost effectively deal with it. Chopper vxs take care of the rest.

I was so scared about all those hammers

The fact that i didn't see you build any VX, i completely ignored bullfrogs.I was actually surprised to see skywings do so much damage, usually it's pretty easy to take these guys down.

And as for hammer, i constantly spammed them till i wiped out your ground base.Though the stupid mistake i did was to ignore water. I recall seeing you harassing my water refinery with a yari.I should have taken this into consideration, but i didn't which later actually cost me the match .Indeed i needed to build at least 1 or 2 flaks, but then again i didn't see any vx, so i ignored that as well...

Lesson learned:NEVER ignore the high seas

Your biggest problem here was lack of aggression + scouting. You spammed too many tengus, didn't harass with them enough, and failed to scout the t2 and tech up in time.

You should've just attacked the water expansion with the tengus you had rather than waste your money on yaris. He would've been forced to either sell the ref, or make a coil, while also delaying his 4th ref expansion.

If you had teched up earliar was well, you could've matched his hammers with tsunamis. Straight TBs usually isn't as effective as a mix of units. You also should make expanding to 4 refs your biggest priority(this way you can spam both tsunamis + IWs non-stop), and the best way to do this is by distracting him with tengus at the same time.

As for the Soviets player, it seemed like he over-spammed hammers, and didn't get sea quick enough. He also didn't scout very well himself.

I wanted constant aggression , that's why over spammed, i tried to destroy his land base.I didn't scout very well cause of IW's(their banzai charge are lethal to bears)I should've sent bears through the water to see everything.
