Actually he needs 2 or else he will be low power until he gets his superreactor up (1 pp cant power 2 ref+WF). Engy rush wasn't really lame because shaddowterran scouted and saw that Wilko wasn't building enough walls off the start.
I agree with Mart on Engineer IFV rush in this game. Even there were capping delays or unload delays Wilko would have lost his refineries. That happens when you assume your opponent is going for the same BO after 2 matches. This is why scouting is so damn important in this game.
Also I've started seeing more and more BOs that involve manspam which are really effective. I haven't really had the time to create an cost effective counter BO against these as Allies and right now I still think that Allies do not have an effective way of countering infantry. The only thing that actually works (SpyIFV) is ridiculously expensive.
And last thing I've just surprised that Echo thought that sending PKs to enemy base is a new strat. It's actually a commonly used strat by almost all Allies players. It is not just against Sovs to counter Terror Drones but it is also effective against other faction if you manage to cap the huts near refineries.
