Is this what the game has sunken to? and on a tournament? A win is a win I guess but... yawn
Well it is the best tactic vs empire going dual/quad barrack core at oil:D. Hopefully empire players stop using it now because all allies have to do is sweep the empire base and if they see dual/quad core build, manspam to the undefended base.
I see agm didn't notice the sweep again, must be a ninja sweep

Agreed.
RA3 matches are far more interesting when players actually SCOUT their opponent. This game was effectively blindly played by both players and thus resulted in a blind all-in build countering a blind semi-risky build (yes $2k worth of rax @ start is semi-risky) Practice used his scan, but really, it reveals very little about his opponent's actual BO/intent.
Think about how differently this game could have turned out if the Empire player had simply built ONE burst drone before one of the engineers. He would have seen the BO, sent both undeployed rax to his opponent's base to deploy and CAPTURE practice's structures, and then unpack and move MCV to the water...

I saw the sweep, but it's actually not as effective as you think it is when it's used that early in the game. There's no substitute for a couple of dogs tbh.
