The MCV was as good as dead, there was no point in moving it to the water... if he did, Apollo would have follow him and kill him in the water instead.. and every little construction pod would have been killed as well, so no real chance at defending teh MCV..
From my point of view, the only mistake was: not getting derricks, and not killing that power plant AS SOON as it came out (the power plan before the turret)

Good game though, fast! I liked it.
What?? , one riptide wasn't going to do crap to the mcv in the water. He would have made it to the water with no prob at all and then build a pp followed by 2 turrets and the riptide wouldn't have time to kill the pp or both turrets before being built with some repairs. Actually pp followed by naval yard would have just about done it.
Putting that mcv mistake behind, kaerb made a great push with this harvesters, I just about fell out of my chair when I saw the whole thing going down. Too bad he didn't use the LOS to his advantage to get his 2 surviving harvesters BEHIND apollos pp, blocking the turrets LOS. Then easy kill on PP and GG mcv
Great game to watch nonetheless. Oh and I'm not sure why kaerb sold the barracks, had he sold the PP he would get 500 to use on 1 engi and cap the oil and should have left one harv gathering so he could keep buying more of them. I know it is easier said when watching a replay then while having the pressure of facing apollo
The MCV could have survided, but the cores would have died, the riptide could just camp outside of the MCV door
Fair enough, bring harvesters to take out the riptide and let a core build to 99%, once the riptide starts fighting the harves, let the core finish and deploy (while deploying, it switches to the buildings health and not the core health, right?)
