Had some good games and some bad games, this was not one of the bad ones
If I had a bit better micro and maybe some vx, my land force could have pushed through. Not sure what to do about that navy though. Maybe just attack with few more tengus
Question: Why did you stop your tech 2 attack and concentrate on my wall so much. Were you worried at not being able to potentially retreat if I confront your forces and finish the wall at the same time? Cause thats what I wanted to do if you attacked my harvester
Observation: We both used some wall swag, allies rarely seem to do that but you used it rather well. That said, waveforces seem to be good for wall smashing, they destroy a line of wall with one shot, creating a passage for onis and whatnot.
I see many scenarios where I could have won this one, especially seeing as there was no cryo... but I still really need to improve my micro in big battles.
also, I didn't push with my T2 land army exactly for the reasons you mentioned: -on the one hand I didn't want being trapped and lose everything -on the other hand I was expecting tsunamis/VXs incoming (I didn't scout 4th reff, I thought you were teching) so I decided waiting for my IFV to give anti air support before attacking. (but as you could see, it was to late then to pass the fortress ^^)
then do deal with allies navy, Yaris must be the best answer I think. If you didn't scout the naval push, sacrificing a mass tengu can help to win time... But it cost 1 arm and it may not work...
An other empire player mind can help us ^^

PS: you were lucky I didn't built spies or a second aircraft to defend my base vs your land army
