I think some increased prices/built times need to be emplaced for the Vindicators and Apollo Fighters. Replay shows why. He was able to keep me busy and on defence and while this is happening he expands to 2 other ore nodes. I was planning on building some sea-wings so i had air defense on my 'to be' water expansion but for some reason he disconnected.

I think i defended pretty well but it was just a matter of time since he/she was on 4 refineries

A good replay to watch also, i defended from a lot of crap.

a underlying problem are the costs of empire refs are 2.5k with severe disadvantages in empire expansion (contrary to the initial/n00b belief that it is 'easy' to expand with empire).

so not only is it more difficult to expand as empire, but you also get your warfactory up MUCH SLOWER than soviets/allies, as well as being behind 1000k b4 the game actually begins. Basically, empire is meta-game fucked from the start.

the apollo is also another main problem, able to take out an incredible number of tengus, also nerfing vindicators might fuck up allies vs soviet match-up o.o
