Is this what the game has sunken to? and on a tournament? A win is a win I guess but... yawn
Have to agree with AGM and you here; same 'all in' strat twice in a row is kinda dull the second time. The fact the empire player didn't even think to scout in case of the same strategy .
But still, its funny that you got away with it again, and I suppose you gotta do what you gotta do, to win...
He didn't inf spam on his second game but his second game crashed and they had an e-fight. I think when they rematched practice was just pissed off with him and wanted to guarentee the win.

I'm hoping to see something a little more better than this in the up-coming games. Apollo's games were atleast revolutionary in showing some great strengths of empire.
=/ why are people getting at practice for using the same strat twice?
Practice did exactly what needed to be done, the all too popular quad rax BO is like an eco boom, and that being pretty expensive. No point going for a WF as it will take longer and he could just spam tank busters. The fact that imperial warriors are no match for a shottie, it makes sense to go for a x2 rax.
After using surveillance sweep, it was clear the strat being used.. and how he was going to use it. So why use a dog to the oils to get run over, or why use them to run at his base when you already know the BO he is going for.
The poor game goes to the other player, who I dont want to offend but did not prepare for this at all. You could see the previous game where it was countered, and you saw that he goes for this strat if he see's quad rax. Yet you didnt even prepare like a strat to go vs. that. You should have moved onto the sea instantly, deploy the wf on sea, upgrade it to t2, and have two tanks flank to attack whilst having anti inf etc. You know practice then would have gone to the sea so you could countered it as he spent more on the inf. Instead it was just left to die.

Actually no, from the replay you can see he went for that strategy HEAD FIRST, he didnt wait to see the other side tactic to deploy the second barrack, but again I am not complaining that he can use inf spam to defeat him, Im just saying that it makes the game dull, thats all.

The other player could have done a number of things, apart from the ones that AGM said, you can clearly see Practice beign on low money the whole time, which will make him a very vulnaberable to some1 capturing the hut next to his only source of income.
