Loved that game, thank you guys for curing my foul mood that I was in when I last posted in the replay section...
Eco was what did it in the end, although I am sure that Derek could have pushed out into the sea again, as there was only one Akula on very low health, and all it would have taken was placing down the naval yard with the vinds sitting over the top of it to get rid of that one.
@ Derek: Maybe going to destroy Echo's oil derrick (no pun intended) was not such a great choice early game, as what you really want to be doing is destroying anything that comes out of the war factory, i.e. before he can get a critical mass of bullfrogs. There was a bullfrog that came out of the war factory whilst you were bombing the derrick that you could have taken out (as he only had about 2 flak troopers) and from then on, after nearly getting engi'd, the vinds just kind of flew around in circles and didn't actually do anything, which lost you the classic vindicator harassment edge that you could have had.
Just to note, the derrick had to be left up for 3 minutes to gain the cost back of a single bullfrog, and I am sure you could have wreaked a lot more nasty havoc than $900 in three minutes of solid vindicator use.
@ Echo: Your man cannon use was great. I don't think I have seen it used as much in a game before. Well, for worthwhile purposes anyway. Unlucky about getting the engineer run over as well .
Also, massed terror drones ftw your soviet play truly is inspiring, as you always think up creative things to do with your army.
Thanks for posting this one, I actually enjoyed myself greatly watching this.

Yeah, you're probably right. I was afraid to try again because I'ld lost so much money in the first attempt and I rather expected him to reinforce that one Akula. I definitely needed a navy (or a much larger Airforce) to stop the Dreads though, and water supplies would have been good.

Thats actually a really good point, I never thought of it that way. I'll definitely do that in future games.
