#1Vruatsa  Feb 1 2011, 19:15 PM -
I thought it was weird to find someone with the TM mark besides from Vertigo, his name got me confused... Still, AvE in Snow Plow with a good fight in the center. smile.gif
Vertigo is such a great player and has taught me many things, so I thank him as well smile.gif

Well played m8

Nice use of the VXs in that attack. It is what made the difference imo.

I don't have a lot of comments for you (as u asked). Be wary not to lose tengus for nothing. The better the player, the less effective is tengu harassment.

You went 3rd ref a little late for my taste... He had his 4th when u got ur 3rd. As a rule I always like to b 1 ref ahead of allies at all time. When I saw that Vertigo had 4 ref and was teching to guardians, I was sure u would lose. But he made a poor defense (not shooting your VX in the air with his javs for ex, not making enough turrets, or not unpacking his mcv for crushing). Imo, ur attack was all-in, as it was ur last and only chance to win. But u were very efficient and that is what matters most.

Okays, just watched it, and it really is awesome! It was a nice use of infantry, and a nice use of the combo-ed VXes. In some way, this game actually reminded me how RinRin usually plays, but RinRin never uses infantry, so it was fun to watch smile.gif
Can't really think of any good tip for this match, so will have to ask RinRin what she thinks you can do better xD

Edit: Well, here are some small tips from RinRin: 1) You can build your starting base a bit faster if you can set a rally points for buildings while they build, so they won't stay there waiting 2) Not much of a hint, but the moment you pushed him back to his starting base and killed his MCV, you could've got a Tankbuster-sudden transport, or, maybe, a bunch of tengus, or sneak 2-3 tanks to get his harvesters and maybe even a powerplant, as you killed his vindicators at that time, so it could've made him to lose some time to get his troops there, and you can attack the front at the moment he pulls back to kill your sneak-attack. A good way to do this is to drop a Tankbuster-sudden transport, set tankbusters on Alt+a, so they attack stuff by themselves and just leave them there. When he pulls back, you can attack him from front without losing any time to micro the sudden transport 3) The second dojo you sent to an oil-rig could've sneaked to the hill with an observation post. You can capture it and have a nice view of his base while 90% players never check that hill. Or if you can't sneak a dojo up there, just leave a burst drone there, cause they can't see it from below. And i haven't tried, but i think your tankbuster can shoot enemy wall or building from up there if garrisoned in a structure, just need to check it. Also, a great place to ambush allied aircraft with VXes. Like you fly 4 VXes there, land 2 on the hill and make 2 others attack some building near it (Like allied powerplant, as they usually build one there) And when appolos fly to kill them, pull the VXes back, and those 2 on the hill can shoot appolos. You know, they can't see them unless they fly close.
Phew, it was a bitta long, sorry for that, but thats what i can say about it. Hope this helps! And a really a great replay, good game by both players, but i guess Vertigo just haven't expected so much VSes. Your replays never fail to entertain me, keep up the good work, mate! wink.gif
