Good to see that I don't suck as much as I thought.

very gg wp- but so you know i lose against alot of sov players, even GOW beat me this night with sovs. I have alot of trouble with sovs and only now are starting to use inf more, but i get stuck! This cals for a 1v1 obs with emi vsing some OP sov players! ^^

Build an army mixed with tsunamis and inf. Sneak a couple of Tengus around my base, then attack with your ridiculously cheap units and land the Tengus in my Refineries at the same time. That way you can beat every soviet player except for perhaps Tingu because no RA3 player really has multitasking and everybody uses Q and/or W.

I agree, I dont use Q, I find it a lack of skill, to just move a bunch of units, even the ones that you dont need to move. I do use W because I like to keep my same units together say Tengus trying to stop the abusing op allies airforce, you need them each one there asap

I actually consider making something like O the shortcut for Q. That's gonna train me use more controle groups.

wouldnt do that if i were you, Q has its uses, you can select a "special" unit really fast imo, eg: a newly build TD can be found through Q>furtherclicks without having to look back @ base

Alright, so you asked me to come and look at this replay to tell you why u lost. So I did it. And here are my comments.

First of all, you had a somewhat good BO and opening -- ofc as it is conspicuously resembling mine . BUT, you could have executed it better. First of all, the burst drone utility is to locate what oil ur opponent will be fighting for. So once u did that, u crushed 1 flak -- this I wouldnt have tried, because had Couch microed correctly you would have lost it right there. But ok, little spot of luck here, u managed to crush it. But then u deployed it in a wrong spot, when u saw his army coming up, u should have deployed it a little closer to ur base, giving the time to your IWs to get there in time. So first mistake, u didnt capp the southern oil. You did manage to crush the bear on the north and capp the oil. Which was very good.

But this BO should give u both oils. So work on that a little.

You expanded relatively fast to ur 3rd ref, which is excellent. And managed to recapp the southern oil eventually. So at this point u had a clear economical advantage. And as a result, ur army size was A LOT bigger than Couch's, at the time he expanded to his 4th ref.

And u pushed at that time. So far so good.

BUT, u should have won right here and there, during ur first push in the middle. You had like double the number of tanks, a good mix of infantry... but man, u microed so bad ! You let all ur inf get crushed by tanks without firing a single shot, and then ofc your tanks where facing his Tesla Trooper and had to retreat...

But ok, shitt happens, and mismicro happens to everyone. However, this was not an isolated event in this game.

In fact, in EVERY one of the fights u had, ur micro was horrendous... and it shows that all your doing is move + A... So ur VXs are on the front line and get pounded, your IWs fire at tanks instead of tesla troopers... and even tho u know he has twinblade, u dont adapt ur production, and fail to make new VXs, so ur army gets decimated by twins 2 or 3 times.

Also, u lost 4-5 collectors either to twins or TDs. And in fact the only reason u stayed in this game for so long, was that Couch didnt get his collector back to work for almost 10 min...

So globally here are my advices : keep improving this BO. You had a clear advantage in the first 4 min of the game and should have won the game. Work on your micro ! And I mean really work on it. And lastly, either pay closer attention to the minimap, to locate TDs and save ur collectors, or build a docks faster. A dock is 1000$ so is a good investment if it prevents u from losing just 1 collector. And also, in longer games vs sov, they will inevitably go air, so u tech up and make 1-2 seawings as well. Otherwise u will lose ur sea expansion.

So that's that. Hope this helps my friend
