This game was kinda boring tbh. REALLY bad micro from both players and Dynamic had no chance to go on the offensive at all. It was just a waiting game to see how long it would take for Maistral to beat him.
I'd bet you'd play better in either mine or his place
Sometimes micro isn't everything, you need to have some foresight into the future and the grand plan. Also, multitasking is important and while doing that your micro can't be perfect, especially in such large fights with dozens of units and attacking + defending on several points at the same time.
2-3 unit micro fights in RA3 are boring IMO, cause you can be screwed by your units bugging out... sure - they're fun to watch, but ain't going to win you games vs good players.
When you've got steady flow of economy, it's more important to kill/delay your opponent from reaching his goal than it is to keep your units alive.
With all due respect maistral, but isnt multitasking all about microing and macroing and what's more at the same time. And what's with the argument "I'd bet you'd play better in either mine or his place" So you have to have the skill for something in order to critisize it? I don't like van Gogh but I can't do that crazy stuff. With that said you really make horrible mistakes. I'm used to watching Starcraft vods, and really with macro or micro alone you get nowhere. For them there is no excuse to quit microing cause they had something else to do. If u speak of toplevel then think toplevel. It's possible to multitask micro as well as everything at the same time (or close).
