  • Hwaldar:
    • attack speed improved to 1.6s (was 2.6s);
    • damage reduced to 180 (was 200);
    • speed corrected to 55 (from 50);
    • Brigandage:
      • tooltip corrected; now indicates that resources are stolen for kills, not damaging enemies;
      • no longer stacks with other Brigandage abilities;
      • Leadership bounty percentage reduced to 70% (from 100%).
    • summoned Spearmen and Axe Throwers now are of normal horde sizes;
    • level ten Summon Hillmen no longer starts instantly recharged, instead uses recharge of level five Summon power.

  • Morgomir:
    • health reduced to 2700 (from 3000);
    • attack damage increased to 250 (from 150);
    • speed corrected to 55 (from 50);
    • 70% damage scalar vs. structures removed;
    • Morgul Blade:
      • available at level 5 (from level 4);
      • initial damage increased to 200 (from 80);
      • 200% scalar vs. heroes added;
      • dead victims now correctly rise as Wights; non-Hero units become Lesser Wights; hero units become Greater Wights with 90s duration;
      • recharge time increased to 60s (from 45s).
    • Dark Glory:
      • now available at level 7 (from level 8);
      • now a Spell-type modifier (from Buff); no longer nonsensically makes units weaker;
      • duration increased to 30s (from 20s);
      • no longer makes Black Numenoreans immune to crush deceleration when charging;
      • no longer affects Thrall Masters;
      • recharge time reduced to 180s (from 240s).
    • Ruin:
      • damage increased to 3000 (from 2500);
      • 50% damage scalar vs. fortresses removed;
      • now paralyzes structures for 30s;
      • recharge time decreased to 180s (from 200s).

  • Karsh:
    • no longer drains health from structures;
    • no longer drains health from machines (most siege units and Battlewagons), Explosive Mines, ships, and undead units (Nazgul, Wights, Army of the Dead, Shade of the Wolf);
    • melee attack level-up damage altered as follows (*3 relates to the fact his attack is in three stages): Level 1: 70*3 hero + 70 magic; Level 2: 70*3 hero + 80 magic (from 70*3 hero + 70 magic); Level 3: 70*3 hero + 90 magic (from 70*3 hero + 70 magic); Level 4: 70*3 hero + 100 magic (from 70*3 hero + 70 magic); Level 5: 70*3 hero + 110 magic (from 80*3 hero + 80 magic); Level 6: 70*3 hero + 120 magic (from 80*3 hero + 80 magic); Level 7: 70*3 hero + 130 magic (from 80*3 hero + 80 magic); Level 8: 70*3 hero + 140 magic (from 80*3 hero + 80 magic); Level 9: 70*3 hero + 150 magic (from 90*3 hero + 90 magic); Level 10: 70*3 hero + 170 magic (from 90*3 hero + 90 magic).
    • Chill Soul:
      • radius increased to 75 (from 50);
      • damage rebalanced as follows: Level 1: 5/s (unchanged); Level 2: 10/s (from 5/s); Level 3: 15/s (from 5/s); Level 4: 20/s (from 5/s); Level 5: 25/s (from 55/s); Level 6: 30/s (from 55/s); Level 7: 35/s (from 55/s); Level 8: 40/s (from 55/s); Level 9: 45/s (from 105/s); Level 10: 50/s (from 105/s);
      • magic damage no longer affects poison-immune units;
      • max height now 20 feet (from none);
      • speed debuff now -33% (was -50%);
      • speed debuff no longer affects inappropriate objects (flying units, 25 PP summons, Tom Bombadil, Ents, ring heroes).
    • Blink now available at level five (from level seven).
    • Whisper of Death:
      • can no longer target Fellbeasts;
      • recharge increased to 150s (from 45s).

  • Rogash:
    • splash radius 30 (from 40);
    • heal rate bug fixed; healing now 30 health/second (from 30 health every 5 seconds);
    • speed increased to 60 (from 55);
    • +20% charge speed bonus removed;
    • now has troll crushing properties and deals 40 crush damage to any unit crushed;
    • now has 5% crush deceleration and 75% min crush velocity;
    • specialist resistance decreased to 25% (from 15%);
    • pierce resistance decreased to 20% (from 15%);
    • frost resistance increased to 20% (from 25%);
    • magic/flame/hero armor reduced to 30% (from 25%);
    • hero ranged armor reduced to 25% (from 20%);
    • fixed slow run animation;
    • fixed lockup bug when capturing buildings;
    • Dominate Troll:
      • now requires level two (from level one);
      • recharge time increased to 2m (from 1m).
    • Leap:
      • now available at level five (from level four);
      • recharge increased to 120s (from 90s).
    • Rage of the North:
      • now available at level seven (from level eight);
      • armor bonus reduced to +100% (from +300%).

    • cost increased to 5000 (from 4000);
    • health decreased to 6000 (from 8000);
    • mounted speed reduced to 90 (from 100);
    • dismounted speed corrected to 55 (from 50);
    • armor set changed to normal hero armor (from Witch King Armor, a set which was designed for the flying Mordor Witch-King), but with double weakness to flame and logical fire and near immunity to frost;
    • mounted armor set changed to mounted hero armor (from Witch King Armor), but with double weakness to flame and logical fire and near immunity to frost;
    • mounted specialist armor reduced to 120% (from 100%);
    • dismounted attack speed increased to 2.75s (from 3s);
    • mounted min crush velocity 65% (from 50%);
    • heal rate bug fixed; healing increased to 45 health/second (from 20 health/second);
    • 10% damage scalar vs. Eowyn removed.
    • Morgul Corruption:
      • now available at level four (from level five);
      • initial damage decreased to 300 (from 600);
      • 200% scalar vs. heroes added;
      • recharge time increased to 60s (from 45s);
      • non-Hero victims now become Lesser Wights; hero units become Greater Wights; duration timer 90s.
    • Terrible Fury now available at level six (from level eight);
    • Hour of the Witch-King:
      • now available at level eight (from level ten);
      • now has a new palantir image;
      • now has a new FX effect;
      • range increased to 300 (from 150);
      • now has an area of effect (radius 150); all heroes within its radius have their special ability timers reset;
      • units within radius 350 of the Witch-king are stunned by terror for 15s;
      • recharge time reduced to 180s (from 300s).
