KNOWN ISSUES

- The replay system will not yet accept Hollin, Ost-in-Edhil, or Old Brown Lands (8) replays. This will be corrected soon. Resolved!
- The patch launcher doesn't yet realize that v3.6 is out. Resolved!
- Just discovered some issues with the German language pack. Don't download it yet! This will be fixed very shortly. Resolved!

- Onhost players will now experience some animation glitches, most notably with resource acquisition indicators. This is considered an acceptable tradeoff for the delay reduction.

Balance Changes

General

- Crush damage vulnerability of many units previously almost immune to crush increased significantly, including cavalry and mini-heroes.
- Siege Ladder and Siege Tower shroud clearing 400 (from 25).
- Hero Aggressive Stance armor penalty now -25% (was -43%).
- Fortress Trebuchet, Catapult, Giant Sentry, and Stone Thrower expansion costs 800 (from 900).
- Fortress Ent, Ballista expansion costs 500 (from 600).

Men

- Rohirrim specialist resistance 185% (from 160%).
- Eowyn Shield Maiden duration 45s (from 30s).
- Faramir sword attack speed 1.2s (from 1.5s).
- Gandalf health 2400 (from 2700).

Elves

- Lorien Warrior default, slash armor 80% (from 100%); crush armor 100% (from 80%).
- Mithlond Sentry cost 300 (from 350).
- Eagle buildtime 1m30s (from 1m15s).

Dwarves

- Dwarven Phalanx cost 300 (from 350); slash resistance 150% (from 140%), pierce resistance 110% (from 100%).
- BattleWagon Men of Dale cost 400 (from 300).
- Demolisher Deploy armor bonus +200% (from +300%).

Isengard

- Uruk Swordsman default, slash resistance 80% (from 70%).
- Sharku min crush velocity 60% (from 50%).
- Fuel the Fires production bonus +80% (from +100%).

Mordor

- Easterling cost 300 (from 350).
- Haradrim Lancers cost 450 (from 500).
- Corsair crush resistance 140% (from 120%).
- Mumakil siege resistance 130% (from 100%).

Goblins

- Fire Drake buildtime 1m30s (from 45s); health 3500 (from 4000); structural, magic resistance 40% (from 20%); frost resistance 140% (from 100%).
- Shelob specialist resistance 40% (from 50%); structural resistance 70% (from 100%); Poison Sting level four (from level six); Tunnel level seven (from level ten).
- Drogoth Fireflight damage vs. Mumakil doubled.

Angmar

- Sorcerer cost 500 (from 450); speed 40 (from 45); Well of Souls and Corpse Rain availability exchanged, including research, equip, and acolyte costs; Corpse Rain corpse count 6 (from 7), scatter removed; Well of Souls range 500 (from 420), heal 300 (from 150).
- Tom Bombadil now deals double damage vs. Karsh (from quintuple damage).
- Witch-king cost 5000 (from 4000).
- Blight duration 2m (from 3m).


General Changes

Custom Heroes

- Standard CaH melee attack speed 1.5s (from 2.1s).
- Olog-hai CaH melee attack speed 2s (from 3.4s).
- CaH Call Reinforcements range 150 (from 800); Evil variant summons two Orc Warrior hordes at levels 1 and 2 (from one horde).
- CaH Coerce range 275/275/275 (from 200/300/400); radius 0/55/85 (from 0/90/120); cast time 1.2s (from 2s); cost 400/250/200 (from 400/300/250).
- CaH Convert Enemy range 275/275 (from 200/200); radius 55/85 (from 60/100); cast time 1.2s (from 2s); cost 400/300 (from 500/300).
- CaH Disguise cost 300 (from 500).

AI Changes

- AI now follows improved power point paths.

Map Changes

- Old Brown Lands is now available as an 8-player map.
- Hollin map added. Hollin is a brand-new 1v1 map from Thoon, designed for ClanWars.
- Ost-in-Edhil map added. Ost-in-Edhil is SiderAment's 2v2 adaption of his previous map, Nevrast, designed for ClanWars. Its layout is modeled on Udun.

Networking Changes

- Maybe probably significantly reduced off-host delay.
- Maybe probably significantly reduced GameRanger autokick issues.

Patch Launcher

- IMPORTANT: please deselect the new Optimize for Multiplayer option to launch the game in singleplayer compatibility mode for Skirmish and Campaign play. If you forget to uncheck this box, your Skirmish and Campaign games will run 10-20% faster.
* A side-effect of the delay fix is that non-multiplayer games run faster, which is why the option to disable it is presented.
* Your replays will also play faster with the delay fix, but this may be desirable.
* Be sure to check Optimize for Multiplayer if you plan to play online.
- IMPORTANT: the patch launcher resolution option now writes to Options.ini.
* This means that the resolution you select in the patch launcher is used even when you don't use the launcher.
* So you can use that resolution in GameRanger without having to edit Options.ini manually. Yay!
- The patch launcher is now smarter than your startup videoes, which can no longer confuse it.
- The patch launcher gives a less cryptic warning message when running unelevated (though it will still close immediately).

Widescreen Patch

- Widescreen patch now stretches most UI elements, so the game now looks much better in a widescreen resolution.
* Notably, you can now see the entire minimap when playing with a widescreen resolution.
* Please remember the widescreen patch is ONLY intended for use with a widescreen resolution.


Bugfixes

EA Bugfixes

- Mithlond Sentries and Easterlings no longer cheer when afraid.
- Summoned Rhudaur Spearmen fade death animation fixed.
- Fixed some fire damage not exploding Mines (e.g. structure fire arrows).
- Warg Sentry Wargs and Kennel Dire Wolves can no longer pick up the Ring or palantir shards.
- Mouth of Sauron, Hwaldar, Morgomir, dismounted Witch-king speed corrected to 55 (from 50).
- Remove Mordor/Isengard resource bar icons.
- Separately fixed Angmar Battle Tower, Wall Tower, Fortress, and Fortress Tower damage.

2.02 Bugfixes (Oopsies)

- AI-controlled Saruman and Drogoth no longer cast Fireball on allied flyers.
- Vigilant Ent and Ballista Expansion bounty values fixed.
- Soul Freeze FX duration fixed, again.
- Angmar Fortress Ice Munitions again apply to Fort arrows.
