Clansteading into fast Uruk Pit

Furnance->Furnance->Clansteading->Furnance->Wildmen->Uruk Pit->Wildmen->Crossbows/Uruk Pikemen->Wildmen

This is the most popular and flexible build of Isengard due to the high amount of versatile Infantry very early, which grants you safety aswell as aggressive potential. The very costeffective combination of Wildmen and Crossbows will make most opponents go for Cavalry early, so be sure to not overmake Crossbows and mix in some Pikemen in time. This build also forces you to stay on three Furnances for a while because the constant unit production will require most of your income. You can usually expand after your 2nd Uruk-battalion.

Uruk Pit Start

Furnance->Furnance->Uruk Pit->Furnance->Uruk Swords->Furnance->Uruk Swords/Crossbows/Uruk Pikemen->Warg Pit->Uruk Swords/Crossbows/Uruk Pikemen->Warg Pit Upgrade->Warg Riders

A build recommended vs. Motw and Elves because the Uruks outclass their early infantry and allow you to follow it up with Warg Riders very soon. What type of unit you want to build as 2nd and 3rd battalion depends on the situation. Crossbows are most common, but some early creeping with Pikemen will speed up your build and can get you an Inn for Wildmen production without having to build an expensive Clansteading.

Warg Pack Start

Furnance->Furnance->Warg Pit->Furnance->Warg Pack->Uruk Pit->Warg Pack->Uruk Crossbows/Uruk Swords->Warg Pack->Uruk Crossbows/Uruk Swords->Furnance

A harassment-oriented build recommended vs. Motw, Elves and Isengard, that can often be followed up by a strong push with Crossbows, where the surviving Warg Packs serve as meatshield. The Wargpacks also grant you safety against the first Swordsmen or Cavalry that try to harass you, as long as you combine Howl with the Crebain-summon.

Double Clansteading Spam

Furnance->Furnance->Clansteading->Furnance->Wildmen->Clansteading->Wildmen->Furnance->Wildmen ->Wildmen->Wildmen

This build used to be a popular choice vs. Goblins and in Isen mirrors because the big, multi-pronged Wildmen pressure can often overwhelm an unprepared opponent. Dont underestimate the impact of Pillage with this build, which might allow you to expand even faster. If you think you can defend a 4th Furnance with only one Clansteading, you can delay your 2nd one for that.

Wildmen-Wargpack Style

Furnance->Furnance->Clansteading->Furnance->Wildmen->Wargpit->Wildmen->Wargpack->Wildmen ->Wargpack->Wildmen->Furnance

This build has very strong aggressive and defensive potential if microed correctly but it also has a clear decay timer on it, eventually being outclassed by most unit compositions so add your Uruk Pit in time. The pillaging Wildmen and quickly harassing Wargpacks can bring your opponent's eco down very effectively and also prevent your Furnances from being destroyed if you flank the harassing units well.
