Boromir I know you like to retreat in Defensive Stance it probably feels good doesn't it. Except the 10% slower part. Retreat in Battle Stance please; I see this mistake more often than I see people retreat heroes properly tbh, at the CW level I should almost never see heroes retreating in Defensive...
edit- Actually Goodfella you seem to hate hero stances in general. You played with Aggressive Theoden while your enemy was firing at him and totally wasted Aragorn by sacrificing his health to Aggressive Stance. These need a lot of work. Too much to explain in a tip but in general - if your hero is fighting units that he can kill in one hit, you can keep him in Defensive. Otherwise, he can be in Battle Stance if that helps him kill enemies in fewer hits. Mostly single units (other heroes, monsters, BattleWagons) fall into this category. If he is retreating, he must be in Battle. If he is taking damage, he cannot be in Aggressive unless it's really really negligible.
Off the top of my head, Aggressive is something like +10% Damage -30% Armor, Defensive is -X% Damage (forget :p) +11ish% Armor. Look it up I guess :p

edit 2- lol at Aragorn dying, again, he takes so much more damage in Aggressive, there is no way you would have come close to losing him had he been in Battle
