Been sitting in my replays folder for a while but finally got around to watching it
The lameness made we want to find a melon baller and scoop my eyes out but it was an entertaining game to watch!

A lot of the lameness is caused by the hero abilities and spellbook (MU inherent) and how armor works of course.

But I also think that both players were a bit lazy with army management. Harassment was quite sparse (even though cav harassment is relatively low risk) and expansion on the flanks didn't hapen early and often enough.

k i just rewatched the first half or so.

I deliberately played a very different style this game as my experience with standard play for elves in this MU is usually difficult. You don't want to expand to the flanks as it's nearly impossible to defend vs the expendable SoGs and roaming knights, so i stayed close to my CP cap with carefully timed expansion. If you noticed, i started farsight rather then RC and 2 archers in the hope of keeping as many trees alive as possible (somewhat experimental), i also went for as cost effective an army composition as i could, lindons with sword/pikes as shields, heroes and eventually Noldors and deliberately didn't split too many units off to harass rather then being to lazy to do it(but true i should have prob sent some lone mithlonds down the flank from mid game onward). It was working out in the early-mid game with a successful push and with a huge PP advantage. I think my main mistake was not using elven mist for the big fight, was afraid to waste it but he would've lost a lot of units retreating from that anyway, he caught up big time from that engagement. Either way MotW>Elf
