Nice, long asss game, very nice etcetera, but yo...
ISNT THIS BIRD CREBAIN BATS UPGRADE THING FROM YOUR FORTRESS SUPPOSED TO DETECT STEALTH
Well, it did none of that. Only stealth it detected were elven swordsmen iirc, it didn't detect pikes, lorien archers or mirks. This left me stuck in my base with stealthy mirks and pikes surrounding it, they dont even get revealed when they are shooting, which makes it pretty hard for me to kill those fukkers. It made him able to let 1/2 units of a battalion just stealth somewhere and get back to a full bat. I don't know if the upgrade from isen's fortress is supposed to detect every stealth, but that made me pretty mad lul.
I think would be bad if this upgraide reveales all units on half of the map since isen has proper powers for this. Also i wouldnt start wilds against elf since warg riders are so bad in 6 00.

The Murder of Crows upgrade (Fort Crebain) does detect stealth, however, the detection radius is only 800 (same radius as the fort's initial shroud clearing range or vision). Before I thought the detection radius would match the fortresses new vision radius (which would make sense) but perhaps that could be overkill.
The question is, how far were those Elves from your fortress? Further than 800?

Aah allright, I dont think they were inside the fortress' initial vision radius, they probably were on like 900 or something then. I just thought that the stealth detection would work in the new vision radius, as u said to be overkill. But then does this mean, that if you don't have the upgrade purchased yet, and there are mirks (or whatever stealth unit) within the 800 initial radius, you would'nt see them? So you could besically stand next to someone's fortress? Isn't that a bit overkill aswell?

Yeah, generally speaking, you could probably stealth near the fortress. Unless you go right up to it or something, then I'd imagine you'd be detected. I'll test this out and get back to you.
