Replays: 5
Nemo: Angmar
Pink: Goblins

It's a short game.

So whenever im Goblins, I hate playing Angmar. IMO it's THE hardest match up. BUT behold this motherfucker finally came online today. Happens once or twice a month for a game or two. He used to mentor me real nice. And when he came on today, we had to do a couple games. He did always say spam farms, but dayuum. So for you guys who also struggle with this Match up, this might be for you^^ After watching this i honestly felt educated, confused and like a nab tongue.gif

A review on my part would be nice. Like how the fuck i get him out of my base? Would it help if i went for his base ect. What should i have done? Better or different build orders? I think sorcerers would have been amazing here, but tbh i felt a bit overconfident with the Matchup, him being rusty as fuck, and was certain that 2-3 rax's would be enough to keep up the spam.

Enjoy smile.gif

Replays: 19 Game:
1st)
In most cases people initially move northwards with their mines (as dw/gob), so I would advice to send one unit that way instead of moving to the southcrossing. Do not follow harrassing stacks with your entire army, seperate one unit from your main body and use it to spot and destroy mines

2nd)
care for your builders if you (re)build rbs, send your builders immediatly back to your fort, if you assume hostile mines in your proximity.

3rd)
you kinda completely fucked up harrassing and toe to toe combat.
No matter what stance, at lvl 1, gundas need two hits to kill a gob, so put them in def stance for extra survivability.
Whilst harrassing watch out where you position you thrall master. Simply order your bat to move to the other side and quickly attack the mine in succession in order to cover your thrall master.
Then again, always actually clumb your units and do not attack straight forward and try to disperse your units when you actually hunt for mines

DONT GET AXETHROWERS, they fire slowly and simply too few in number to really achieve anything. Go gundas

4th)
wouldn't go for a third Hall. It is cost ineffective for angmar to try outspamming a serious gob spam. You should always strive for a karsh as your first hero here
