This is how I like to play my 2v2s: Let me ally take just as many blows as he can while I get an unbreakable position on my side biggrin.gif

Just lol at that first engagement between uruks and lancers, when it looked like they were gonna take flank dmg they didn't and then when they absolutely shouldn't have taken flank dmg they did laugh.gif . Flank mechanic is great in theory but so random and unpredictable in practice sad.gif .

This.
i find myself in many situations where i'm really focusing on microing my swordsmen so that at least i don't take the flank damage and if anything face the cav head on but most of the time it ends up in failure and 1 shot. Just watch Mauhur's 1st uruk swords in this replay :
a) Uruk warriors in defensive stance with war chant (without shield wall!!!) were trampled from behind (after cowering a bit too) by unbuffed Rivendel lancers in aggressive stance and took like 1/10 health dmg.
b) Uruks switched to shield wall, got trampled head on and took almost the same or a bit less dmg.
c) Rivendel lancers were buffed with Rallying cry and turned back to trample again head on.
They 1-shot the whole battalion

If you look closely, uruks seem to have turned their backs momentarily before being 1 shot during the final trample, which leads me to think that maybe lag/delay/offhost is a factor and the game thought they were still getting flanked.

On a side note, i really liked how Mauhur used his Saruman to intimidate the enemy infantry by moving close to them, bluffing to use wizard blast, while it was still on cooldown.

IMo Uruks are OP. u can play only with uruk spam vs angm, untill snow trolls are out. They are goods vs cavalery, archers, pikemen, blades.

Maybe not OP but very (too) easy to use.

Maybe little nerf shield-wall formation and they will be fine.

Isengard received a number of buffs in v7, surely it's helped this matchup somewhat.
