Rise of the Witch King

Uploading this coz it's proably the most fun game i've had since i've been playing again. Goes on for a while, back and forth and you don't know who's going to win till right near the end.

Though otto played really well (off-host) and took advantage of my sloppy macro and cashfloating midgame with some absolutely beast mountain trolls! Also some epic air battles!

Cool game. Both had nice spam and harassment.

Deadly this match! I even thought the 5 you had hunting around gob base could have finished the fort when in combo with Rain of Fire (but residue fire may have killed them as well, they did good damage anyway).

Would have liked to see Spider Rider bowmode vs Mountain Troll.

I wish Mordor got more diversity instead of orc and troll spam, some good archer would have been nice. But perhaps he was saving for fellbeast for a long time.

Fort Drake turned out to be very nice vs Mountain Trolls as he couldn't get knocked back and was bulky enough to tank hits. Never really see this counter (spider bow may have done job but this was cool).

Air Battles!

Always fun to see these winged beasted clash, and this match features a pure Drogoth vs 2 Fellbeast duel (no outside interference unless I missed it). It seems Drogoth's Fireball does not have high accuracy on Fellbeast from behind if range is far. Get close up then cast for good damage, or cast head-on into Fellbeast.

Question: What was Rain of Fire's 2nd use casted on? Was used at time of the epic air duel, but I only saw some remnant Marauders, was there a big army there of archers?

Mutually Assured Destruction

One of my favorite aspects of a good game is (hopefully) both sides have sustained equally heavy damage. At one point both Mordor and Goblins bases (except fortresses) were gone, and both had to rebuild, both also having minimal units on the field. This was when air beasts were summoned to help extend their harassing hands.

Each base was always under threat with these wing-less wyrms torching them again and again. As well as and and ofc.

Proxy (Forward) Structures

Sometimes as a game goes on, the area around your Fort becomes less and less safe. A hidden forward production building can be useful. I liked the use of this game, tbh I love good use of towers.

Final Words to Possible Commentators

Good game, I think it would make for a pretty good cast as it had some nice moments (air duel, both bases weakened, good unit command and spam). But there are some downsides:

• Got slow at times. Both players had a very low amount of command points due to effective aggression. I fast forwarded through much of the game tbh, was mostly powers doing farm damage and few units going around, won't miss it with fast forward. I've played in games like this, they are fun to play and really cool, it like early gameplay 40mins in! But can be dull for a viewer.
• played on Fords of Isen II, some youtube viewers may not like.
