The mirrors are placed together to increase heal rate. I'm not sure if that works or not TBH. Pretty sure it does not help respawn rate, but maybe it helps heal rate?

I think I made it heal all units in an attempt to buff Elrond, copied from BFME II. The expensive elf heroes were really hard to get right, and my gamble was to make Elrond very powerful (e.g. heal all units) and very expensive. In retrospect, heal for everyone was probably a bit much, and strange that it's different from Aragorn/Arwen. TBH I don't remember seeing it heal non-heroes before and I had forgotten, so it was a surprise for me as well.

Anyway, I remember this game now that I've seen it again. Elves should have been able to win by taking map control instead of trying to shoot the fort with arrows. Stupid mistake! And then everything got completely insane at the end: I'd say that was five comebacks in about ten minutes (normally one or two per game is impressive). Probably one of the best games I've ever seen. I think the loser gave up too soon, considering how many comebacks had just occurred, and how I had no clue who was going to win until the end.

P.S. Cave Bats actually completely cancels leadership (but not the buff; the total damage under Elrond + RC + Cave Bats is 1.5 * .75 = +12% damage and .33 - .2 = +13% armor).

Well that's wrong, sorry, you have to convert the 1.13 armor into an armor bonus using some formula I've forgotten. Will be slightly more than +13%

http://www.gamereplays.org/rotwkunofficial...e&st=2& almost explains it but omits the formula. Drat. Someone smart should be able to figure it out without too much trouble. smile.gif

Yeah I wish my opponent stayed longer, but nevertheless it was a fun game. smile.gif

I need to figure out how all these formulas work. I kinda had an idea years ago but I forgot a lot of it. Guess I have some research to do!

Glad to hear you enjoyed the game.

I always update the Videos section as soon as possible after uploading something new on YouTube. But only the best content goes on the portal. I will publish this on the portal tomorrow.
