Hello Johan. I noticed you are one of the few who play on the original patch 2.01. I am not a tournament player, but a fan of battles with AI. I tried to play in 2.02 - the feeling of losing features in fractions, for example, towers became the same strength in all fractions and much more, like leveling and depersonalization. However, a lot of bugs have been fixed. Maybe I'm looking for a reason to stay at 2.01 .... Please, share why you are not switching to 2.02. Thank.

I also uploaded some 2.02 videos, but there are several aspects why I disliked this version. Several units from 2.02 or armies are too weak or too strong or weird. Goblin Faction for example is absolutly no fun against mordor. And Lorien warriors are not strong enough.. The changed LD`s System I dislike also. Also the zoom out is not high enough for me.

Thanks for the answer. And if it’s not difficult, which particular units raise the most questions? It’s strange for me that the pirates of the Umbara increase their health) in fact, these are also people, and even without armor. Compared to the gondor infantry (where both the swordsmen and archers are almost in full steel armor) they are "tattered". It seems to me that their role is to perform fast (because they are without armor) sabotage operations.
Removed in 2.02 I call the "berserker class" - single units and gain heroes for a small amount of CP (from 25 to 35), These are cheap heroes and trolls. Now the seediest hero eats 50-60 command points.
An interesting question is about the attack speed of the black orcs of Mordor, the black Numinoreans, snow trolls, and half-troll swordsmen.
How to use them correctly in 2.01? In my opinion, they are good precisely in mixing with other troops if a banner is taken to replenish soldiers. They are "fat" and since their squad is small, the restoration of one unit has a greater health potential. For example, 1 semi-troll of 6 is 600 hp, and 1 goblin of 20 is 75 hp.
Also, I did not like removing bugs that were races tokens. For example, at 2.01 at elves, any unit in a defensive tower could shoot. This is not a bug)) - it's the elves !!! They all have to shoot!
A combat car with a hearth healed buildings. These are engineering troops !!! "Dwarves are the best builders")

The thing with the slower attack speed is they are all swordsmen, so they can counter pikes good, you can use them against pikes. And with armor and/or leadership they are all great against any other inf.

Snow trolls attack speed is ok, they can trample additionally so they are worth to get.
