lagabuse played really good, he spamed elves like some people goblins really hard time for me,just one sneak attack and i could destroy his fort and last worker, but he was still able to hold me in defense
really good game with 2 different tactics
it was the eas game between rank 1 and 2 (the first price will be a laptop on 30th august...any german, swiss and austrian is welcome to join the ladder)

Starting positions: Elves/lo0do0 - West Elves/WenSon - East
Overview:
A very good game between two skilled players. There was action everywhere on the map and some fights around the two outposts, which none player could hold for long time. While lo0do0 started with a cavalry rush and captured his outpost, WenSon started with infantry and captured his outpost. Because of lo0do0's great unit spammage WenSon was forced into defense the entire game. Both players showed wide knowledge on the Elves and had a really good performance. Recommended the watch for everyone who wants to see a good game, but also if you're looking for a good Elven strategy since there are two to choose.
Elves/lo0do0
Your start was good, with your cavalry you could deal some damage to your opponent and your fast infantry followed also helped you a lot. Because you could hold both outposts for a quite long time you had really much money to spend and used it to go for the mapcontrol and to put your opponent under even more pressure, this was very good. You were struggling with Glorfindel though and didn't have a real solution. You should have trapped him with some archers and pikes close to trees so that you could have finished him off with ease, he was a very big threat for your lancers. After a while, although constantly spamming units you were really cashfloating but didn't build an eregion forge when it would have been useful. You then could have had upgrades much earlier than your opponent and could have wiped him out. It was very bad luck that your builder got killed in the sneak ent summon then because you had the cash for another fortress, I admire that you could keep the pressure on him although you couldn't build anymore. When your opponent had his ent summon recharged, you sadly had to give up. Your micro was good, beside the fact that your units were sometimes trampled by lindon archers, this was sometimes avoidable, sometimes not. Your hero micro was okay, you always tried to save your heroes but it didn't always work. Especially for Elrond. You were cashfloating quite hard but I recommend using him as walking statue or not at all.
Tips for improvement
Get upgrades earlier if you're cash floating that much. The upgrades would have helped you a lot and you could afford them.
Elrond's only purpose is giving leadership until he is at level 7 so leave him at your units and avoid close combats.
When your pikes are charged by lindon archers, always go into aggressive stance to deal as much damage as possible!
Elves/WenSon
Also a good start here. Although your infantry was inferior to your opponent's cavalry, you managed to make the best out of it and were able to mostly hold at least one outpost. The whole game over you were forced to defend because your opponent spammed so many troops, this however wasn't much of a problem for you since you could level up your units pretty good. When your opponent started to build more lancers, your early Glorfindel could really threat them. Your good Glorfindel usage was one of the reasons why your economy wasn't hurt too much and you could tech fast for mirkwood archers. Your upgrades were received at the right time, not too early for your economy and not too late. Yet you sometimes couldn't defeat your opponent's forces because they outnumbered you more or less heavily. After having collected enough power points you made a devastating sneak attack with the ent summon on your opponent which could decide the game for you, although being still put under pressure. Eventually your second ent summon arrived and you could win the game. Your micro was good, you lost Glorfindel only once and even then it was a very tight situation. Your unit micro was mostly good, although you sometimes overdid it with your lindon archer rampage.
Tips for improvement
Don't be that defensive. You didn't make any big offensives at all and were too passive throughout the game. The only thing that really made the game for you was the ent summon.
Don't overdo it with lindon archers, they might trample everything to death but it's still smart to avoid pikes if there are still archers around.

they are allowed in this ladder imo there is also no reason to ban them, the trample damage is their only use and lodo used them too, they did not have much influence, cause they also die fast if u aim them or block them with pikes
