close game. looked at start as though the stronger armies of isen and angmar were far too much for our spam of weaker units. close game at times and 1 player quits jsut before end of the game. all armies had 15 pp. smile.gif . very good game please review. NOT A BFME2 REPLAY btw =-)

Review by: Jammyelf

Starting positions:
Isengard/JR|Tequilla and JR|GodForbid/Angmar - North
MaFia|DoMiNuS/Goblins and MaFia|DanGerOus/Mordor - South

Overview: A very entertaining game with lots of action and harassing. All players used great clumping and stances to a high level. Mordor being the late game faction finished the game off with khamul and mass orcs made possible because of map control.

MaFia|DoMiNuS/Goblins and MaFia|DanGerOus/Mordor - South

You guys had started off with a good defence and because of this soon countered the other team’s rushes; still try to start off offensive form the word go as this will give you a big advantage. Also both of you did not have your first resource buildings at 97%. It may not seem like but much but it causes a 6 second delay to your economy below this and above this it will not be in range of your fortress arrows. Also MaFia|DanGerOus you need to help your team mate out when he is in battles as your army was standing doing nothing for ages. Also MaFia|DanGerOus, try getting early trolls especially attack trolls as they will cut through their armies like a hot knife through butter taking little damage themselves.

Tips for improvement
  • Get trolls
  • Build resource buildings to 97%
  • Be more aggressive early on.
  • Help each other out more

Isengard/JR|Tequilla and JR|GodForbid/Angmar - North

You guys started off well too but Te Quilla don’t sacrifice you uruks like that by sending them aimlessly at your opponents base. Make sure you have the opportunity to take down a building and still keep your units. Uruks cost more than resource buildings so this is not a wise trade. You guys had the right idea to start offensively and gain the upper hand but you spread your forces to thin. Only leave a battalion by itself if it is a distraction and the unit is cheap like wildmen. GodForbid against goblin archers make your warriors run into them then attack so you will kill them much quicker as these archers’ slow rate of fire and health will mean the go down very quickly. Its all very well getting the tower with a builder but you really did not protect it even if the tower was about to fall. Try getting ranged units in there as soon as possible. Also you need to take more control of the map more as this will give you a better chance to win and more money. You need to stop cash floating as much as you did in mid game when you could have bought upgrades and more units.

Tips for improvement
  • Do not though uruks away.
  • Run into archers before attacking with warriors.
  • Get ranged units to replace builder in tower.
  • Take map control.

Not a bad game imo.

My m8 had some computer problems, his lap top was lagging really bad which made it very hard for me.

It was fairly laggy anyway, but nothing out of the ordinary.

I tried my best but couldn't fight you both off tongue.gif

GG

as far as i understand in any game where it gets to lategame(especially in 2v2), tequilla has problems because of the laptop.
