alot of mistakes, and pretty hectic, quite fun tho. lvl 10 gorkil and level 6 drogoth make this a fun watch i think. this guy was an absolute shit after the game though, saying "im going to be kicked from DooM because i lost to a 2 clan", very annoying, but w/e, thats DooM for ya.

Review by: Thorin^

Starting positions:
Goblins/DooM|AkA - West
Goblins/EaE2|Tony-G - East

Overview:

This was the best game I've reviewed in 10 months to be honest, the first replay I give a 7 this month. Extremely entertaining and good skill overall, constant action with big battles all over the map. AkAri^ had a bit of a weird start, it was not good for his economy, but it definately gave him the advantage through numbers in the early game, which wasn't enough as Tony-G pushed his advance back and drew the game even. The infinite masses of Goblins swarmed across the map and each single battallion was used to the maximum. At one point when AkAri^ got Drogoth, it looked like Tony-G would be done for as Drogoth can only be countered through archery, in which Goblins are the worst faction. But through a targeting mistake, he should have attacked those archers that came out of the tunnel which were pretty clumped (which he didn't), he lost Drogoth. Gorkil was Tony-G's leading hero who won the many Goblin vs Goblin battles through Leadership and when he reached level 10 with the Call of the Deep power (Inferno even killed Drogoth). Overall, one of the most entertaining games I've reviewed in a while. Well done guys.

Goblins/DooM|AkAri^

Your start was a bit unusual, it wasn't bad, but it could have been better. If you want a fast Goblin start go for Tunnel --> Cave --> Tunnel --> Cave to not let your economy suffer too much and still give you that edge in numbers. Also, build your Tunnels at 97%, at least the starting ones as that can mean the difference between being able to buy a unit or not. Expand more as well, you didn't really use the flanks of the map for this, which allowed him to do so. Get the Goblin King, 'cause as you could see in the game, he was extremely effective when he got his leadership, your Goblins vs his Goblins + Goblin King was almost a hopeless task due to his LD. Level your caves as well, in this game you can see the importance of doing this, you would have spared pretty much all your caves from getting destroyed as they are 2x as durable on level 2 and 3x as durable on level 3 than level 1, plus they spam Goblins 3 seconds faster (30 instead of 33) at level 2 and 9 seconds faster on level 3 (24 instead of 33) and at level 3 it has an Arrow Tower. Another thing, you lost Drogoth quite unnecessarily, first time you should have targeted those Goblin Archers that had just exited, you would have spared Drogoth and also do not attack when there's fire on the ground, he is weak vs ground fire. Last, your Balrog use could have been far better, use Fire Breath on the Fort expansions, always use Ignite, he'll have triple damage and 2x more durability and use the Whip on the Fortress, it does 1500 damage to the Fort (3000 Hero damage; 50% hero armor).

    Tips for improvement
  • Use Tunnel --> Cave --> Tunnel --> Cave and build your RB's at 97%.
  • Expand along the flanks of the map to prevent him from doing this.
  • Get the Goblin King, his LD is invaluable.
  • Level your caves, it would have spared you a few caves quite a few times.
  • Use Ignite constantly and the Whip vs the Fortress plus Fire Breath on the Fort expansions.

Goblins/EaE2|Tony-G

Well done by you, although there were a few things I'd like to point out. Level your caves, you too had this problem, you lost quite a few caves which could have been prevented from leveling them up one by one, it would also have improved your Goblin spam over time. Try not to cashfloat, rather spend it on things you think are useful like leveling your caves. Also, don't trample Goblin hordes head on with Spider Riders, trample the sides first and then the rest. If they do get bogged down, put them in defensive. Try not to clump your Goblin Archers together when facing Drogoth, this way they'll die much faster and you won't have any benefit from clumping them. You could also use Spider Riders on bow mode vs Drogoth, they are quite powerful especially in aggressive + LD. Last, you should have used Call from the Deep before Gorkil died to Fort fire, it would have been really useful to have 3 drakes in his base at that time.

    Tips for improvement
  • Level your caves, they are so much more durable and over time your Goblin spam will be superior to his level 1 spam.
  • Try not to cashfloat, rather spend on things you think are useful at that time.
  • Don't trample Goblins with Spider Riders head on, they will only get bogged down and die.
  • Don't clump Goblin Archers together when facing Drogoth, it does not benefit you in any way.
  • Try to use Spider Riders in bow mode vs Drogoth, they are quite powerful in bow mode tbh.

BTW if "this guy was an absolute shit" why do you post the replay then? wacko.gif I thought good guys like you only post replays when they think it gets a good mark, and hope for a rotw or silver/gold.

BTW2 the only thing you can say about other's replays or about others is that they are "a piece of shit" or w/e with shit, the only games where you don't say that are the games of yourself or JR's.

BTW3 and if you can't say the replay is shit, because it is a good one, but not of yourself or JR, you say that the review is pro, or something like that. So you don't have to say that the replay self good is.

Conclusion: You are always very negative, and can't stand that others also do good things. Thank you for you attention. lol

He said 'after' the game, it wasn't a remark about the game itself but about the behaviour of the player.
So has nothing to do with the quality of the replay itself. Don't wanna interfere in the disagreement as I know nothing about it but your comment was based on 'wrong understanding'.

90 % sure he meant replay and not review, those get mixed up easily.
