GameReplays: Recently you have been competing in the Ascension Tournament. Have you enjoyed it so far? Have the other players seemed challenging enough?
Mondragon: Ascension is a wonderful tourney hosted by Media Esports. It's really worth to appreciate by everyone out there. They put so much efforts in it and offer a wonderful commentary to very exciting games. My first group with Nyoken and my teammate Cloud was very tough and had to be decided in a close tiebreaker. Today I'm going to play my second group and it will most likely soon be released then. Let’s see how I'm doing.
GameReplays: The World Wide Invitational for 2008 has been announced. Given that it will be held in France this year and given that, you are a European gamer, have you heard anything from Blizzard about being invited to play?
Mondragon: I have not been invited (yet?!) until now. I would definitely appreciate an invitation and I really intend on participating in this event if I get invited. For sure, it will be a very fun event to meet some international gamers again and play vs. Korean progamers.
GameReplays: Well perhaps you will be there and we can see you owning up in Starcraft 2. Speaking of Starcraft 2 let's talk about it a little! I'm sure you have been keeping an eye on Starcraft 2 at least a little bit. What are your opinions on how it is shaping up?
Mondragon: Yeah I've been keeping an eye on SC2, but really only a little bit. I've only seen some screenshots here and there and I don't like it too much what I've seen so far. The graphics looks like WC3-graphics and is a complete mess in my opinion. For sure, it won't be nearly as good as StarCraft which is kind of impossible anyway, but to me it looks like WC3 with SC units and I don't like that thought at all.
