I actually veto that map because I feel it is bad for zergs. But yeah, widow mines are OP lul
How so? Is it because of the weird 2nd/3rd base locations?
In any case, the Zerg player shouldn't have advanced in such a fashion, knowing the Widow mine was right near the ramp. He should've sent lings instead to eat the blast if he wanted to advance that quickly (rather than bring an Overseer to find the mine, which would've been wiser...but he had no Lair). If he did that instead, he might've won.
Then again, maybe not, given his poor macro. No baneling speed upgrade, nowhere near enough drones to supply economy during the ten minute push (just 11 or 12 for minerals?), and no 2nd base or Lair upgrade started until 11:30 in the match? Any decent Zerg player would've done most of those things concurrently with the assault, just in case the push fails.
However, this guy's genius move? "Oh, let me build a 2nd hatchery in my main base, rather than an expo, so I can increase ling production." Wow.
