Not all that impressed with this replay. It felt like you were playing a capable player who after surviving the first 20 minutes, handed the computer over to his little brother to learn how to play SC2. Let me elaborate:

Terran had just under 100 workers, which sucked up a ton of minerals fast but crippled his army as he was at the 200 cap constantly. So he had a ton of income and an inferior army. He also built a whole bunch of bunkers and a PF in the centre, after you had given up on ground attacks. Never bothered to attempt to fill the bunkers. He also built 3 or 4 Command Centres down in the south for no apparent reason. Also built a few Ghost Academies and nukes RIGHT ON THE FRONTIER. Why? They just got destroyed easily. This all felt like he had a ton of resources but really no clue how to best use them.

So once he's getting walloped by your air army, Terran struggles to understand how to respond. Accumulated 17 000 minerals at this point and was producing 1 viking at a time, he really wasn't at a fraction of his potential. Also still at about the population cap with 98 SCVs.

By 46 minutes you were in his base, making a huge mess and he finally got the idea to build some more Starports. So now Terran is pumping 5 Vikings at a time with no Reactor upgrade on any of them. By the time he'd have a formidable army, he'll be a goner.

Let me also add that it drives me nuts when a player has a TON of excess resources but refuses to get upgrades like Turret range and building armor. Any idea how effective +2 armor is vs. Broodlings?

When the game ended, he had 99 supply, 89 of which were SCVs and 15 000 minerals.

So hopefully I've effectively outlined why I found this replay more frustrating than impressive. Not to deter you from uploading replays, as many of your previous ones have been great. While I understand you're probably trying to pimp yourself for the lessons, I also humbly suggest that you upload the good replays where you also lose. You only ever upload losses and it gets dull knowing who the winner is going to be. I mean this all with the highest of respect. =)

Thanks!

I've uploaded plenty of losses - but they rarely *read - never* get wubs.

I played you on ladder the other day and you destroyed me because I didn't have a great composition vs your ling bane ling infestor I believe in zvp. What is the composition that you think kills that zerg combo easily?

double robo colossus + blink stalker does well once you're 6+ colossi. After that the zerg player generally has to go into broodlords or he's sunk.

I have to agree with mackinstyle, this was just frustrating to watch.
I can't even believe its masters, its got so many faults

You sent a spine crawler to attack a bunker being repaired. That was uncalled for. Just keep the crawler out of range of the bunker, and the assult will stop. No terran will march marines into range of a crawler.

Instead you let the bunker kill the crawler, and as a result you had no defenses and basicly lost the game there.
Your terran opponent was so far in the lead that any form of a comeback should of required a huge tactical blunder for you to have caught up.

Instead you drone hard, use crwaler for defense (which is good), and for the next 15 or so minutes the terran does nothing.

medivac hellion harass, marine medivac drop, banshee harass, a containment on the low ground with seigetanks and bunkers bunkers, even mass marines would have sealed your fate.

You were so slow to get banelings i feel you should also have lost the game there as well. You knew from the start it was 2 rax, which almost always justifies banelings.
You sent an overlord in and saw 4 rax, for 6 rax total or more, and still you didn't bother getting banelings.

Its minutes later when you decide its time to get banelings. You could have been dropped by 16-24 marines in your main, and yuo'd have been oblitereated without banelings. Good stim micro would have oblitereated you even with banelings because you didn't have speed due to such a slow nest.

The entire midgame is denoted by *nothing happening* besides a few skirmishes where the terran player gets a few marines killed scouting.

Mid-late game consists of unsupported marines and seigetanks trying to push, but no medivacs, poor upgrades, and dwinled marine numbers results in the push getting oblitereated.

Late game resolves around the terran having half his eco dedicated to scvs, 96 scvs!
And as a result being unable to form any terran deathball.
If he was smart he'd of simply selected 70 scvs and ran them into your base to free up supply.

Then he could of gone from a 102 supply army to 172.

There was zero aggression, and in fact mininal scouting from the zerg player. The most you ever really knew, was what expantions hadn't been taken. You did zero harass or scouting untill you got mutas at the late game.

You win simply because you build an army and the terran can't counter it because hes supply capped (and not very good).

Key notes of this replay:

-Terran "wins" the game early, but zero aggression allows the zerg to catch up by macro only.
-Terran plays a biomech style, but neglects his bioball. No medivacs for support, mininal upgrades, overstims.
-Terran accumlates 16k minerals thanks to obsessive scv production, but results in an tiny army about 60 food large.
-Zerg survives an increadible amount of time without a baneling nest
