hmm, Just found out that iWIN is actually InsideTheOut.
judging by the game i've had with him today he's not at his peak in this game.

Maybe I should just watch this more closely smile.gif

Right, all T3 bots outrange T1 pd, however, only by one klick or something. So unless you give attack queues to them the hard way, they will enter the PDs range after they shot their initial salvo, so-to-say their range advantage is neglectable unless you make manually use out of it.

Deal with T1 pd is their firepower and attack priority. I cant tell why, but it appears mobile units have a higher priority than PD (at least t1) has, so by pairing up mantis and pd the t3 bots will basicly waste their firepower killing mantis, all the time the PD dishing out 150 DPs.

iWIN could have used his T3 bots more defensively, establish a perimeter instead of going for the assasination. He could have decimated the T1 armies, and then strike back.
But WHOW, I never built that many factories before, I usually build up till 10 factories, and use T1/T2 builders to accelerate productions. I also stop to make some use for T2 tanks and missile launchers before I move on to T3 bot spam. But I don't play that much online anyway.
Nice replay, but if it deserves silver? dunno. Lessons learned today .. Don't tech to T3 when you lost the spamfest.

Actually, teching to T3 is not a bad idea if you lose the spam fest. How else could you possibly come back? You're not going to out spam them, T2 is currently a joke, especially for Aeon, and using some special tactic like sneaking a TML behind the other guys base may take too long and you'll get over run. Watch the replay of Poita vs. Unconquerable on Open Palms. Unconqueralbe did exactly what I just said, but he did it properly and won.

had iwin spent some time to get some pd up in his base and maybe a shield then he prolly couldve won this one with ease. the fact that he was upgrading mexes outside of his base when it was inevtiable that he was going to lose that territory was also a problem.

when your opponent is spamming t1 like that you shouldn't count on any of your economy outside of your base to live long. if iwin had t3+storage in his base instead of teching random mexes to t2 then hed would have had the mass to push out with his harbs and really start to push matiz back

also sending all of his harbs away and leaving his acu undefended in his base when there was 4098758 mantii sitting outside was just a bad idea tongue.gif
