A strange game, this. I felt I was doing alright at the start, but pedoph...0ops, I mean Mephistophile seemed to have huge amounts of spam, with just normal mex spots. I dunno how he got it. I feel that I did an alright job of raiding his mass spots. Yet this seemed to have no affect on his production capabilities.

Theta Passage - Flynn (Red) vs Mephistophile (Green)

Meph and Flynn go at it on Theta Passage with no aeon in sight smile.gif. Flynn is 'oof' and Meph is cybran. Both play the map in a typical fashion.

Mephistophile - North

Early game harassing was good for containment but could of possibly done a bit more damage. You also let Flynn take bottom corner on your side very early. Plenty of spam and probing for weak spots revealed the channel down the left hand side and you made the most of this. Holding off upgrading mex to maximise unit spam was good but when it was clear you were gaining control you should of started to think about upgrading. At the end you were still exclusively Tech level 1. I think you could of also made a few more engineers to expand towards the corners faster as you were relatively slow taking these area's. By and large though a good game and well played.

Flynn - South

A nice start from you Flynn, especially in the face of Cybran spam. You expanded well and also raided while doing so. Toe to toe Strikers can take on hunters and mantis and win due to the amount of armour they have, but only in equal numbers. After your initial raiding you were still sending small groups of units to take on much larger groups and they were dying needlessly. When playing as UEF you have to remember that they are not fast and you cant mass them quickly. As this is the case you have to push forward slowly while defending the land you already have. You left a great big gap down your left side which was your undoing. Its always hard to play as UEF and even harder when you try play them like Aeon. You certainly had the right idea but were perhaps a bit too quick to upgrade your first mex to t2. Also a couple more engineers would not of hurt as your economy was very slow to grow. Especially your energy production.

Summary

Nice game but a bit one sided after the initial skirmishing. Also nice to see a game without Aeon in it. Roll on patch so we can see more of the same smile.gif

Score 4/10

Meh, I didn't account for the energy usage of my airfactory. It was plain and simple forgettfulness which I thought I was past at this stage in my SupCom career biggrin.gif

Edit: Watched the rep, I believe there are two main factors that fuck me up the arse:

My energy deficit. I shouda' and coulda' accounted for that easily. When I broke off my Cmdr to push back his Cmdr. I shoulda' and coulda' settled for him just retreating and built up a couple spam factories in a few minutes then I woulda' won imhao. Also my unit micro was abit off. At the start with those two tanks I shoulda' and coulda' given up on the engy because I knew he was microing it. I shoulda' and coulda' gone for the mex.
