Pretty good game here. 1st 10 minutes is pretty much a mirror match with both players doing everything pretty much the same. Basic manages to go more offensive and kill some of eshez's mex but eshez has more upgraded mex than basic so the economy stay roughly the same. Around the 12 minute mark basic gets to T3 while eshez is still at T2. About 14 minute mark basic appears with a couple of bots at the battle zone and starts pushing eshez even further back.

Eshez meanwhile is investing everything into T1 PDs, upping to T3 and some on eco. Basic has control of virtually the whole map by the 16 minute mark apart from eshez's base area. Eshez has harbs of his own in about equal number with basic. Basic is attacking but only causing minimal damage to eshez. Eshez is producing harbs at about 2-3 times the speed of basic at this point, even though both players have the same economy size basic is investing in a combination of T1 T2 and T3 units. Eshez is using all of his mass on harbs with a little bit devoted to making his eco bigger. Between 16-19 minutes eshez is lapping up basics attacks with harbs and PDs pretty much slaughtering everything coming at him.

At the 20 minute mark eshez decides he is going on the counter attack and splits his harbs into groups of 5-6 and goes on a killing spree around the map with about 20 harbs. Basic doesn't really know what to do now and is getting pushed back on all fronts. He is also making T3 artillary now on one of his t3 factories n1qshok.gif

Eshez is all over basic now like stains on a mattress. And is really causing alot of damage to him. He sees basics commander and goes for the kill and wins at the 25 minute mark.

Eshez

+Good economy
+Solid Defence
+Good priorities in what you were making, you turned into overdrive mode when you saw he had bots.
-Pissed about a bit in T1 you could have made bots quicker.
-Lost some ground in T1, a couple of PDs would have caused him some pain.

Good play from eshez, even though he lost map control, he didnt look in trouble for very long.

7/10

Basic

+Fast to T3
+Good T1 build, pushed him back well in T1.
-You had a flare sitting next to 3 of his mex's and doing nothing for ages
-You only had a few bots when you showed him your hand and you only had a small portion of your eco actually making them about 5 t1 engineers assisting.
-Kept attacking him instead of regrouping, making PDs and expanding your economy.
-Even though you had air superiority you didnt make any bombers ot gunships. Making gunships would have worked better rather than a second t3 factory.
-You had map control but didnt build all of the mex's you could have.
-Made T3 artillary instead of bots, waste of money.

Good build order here and good T1 usage but, didn't switch to bot production and made alot of shit instead of more bots. Didn't make enough eco. Main mistake was that you though you were winning when you weren't and kept continuing with your same tactic even though it wasn't working. Bad strategy sad.gif

4/10

OVERALL 6/10

I love that t1 flare bot sitting in the corner doing nothing for 10 mins while there was 3 mexes to kill nearby...

Basic your main problem is that after you upgraded 1 lab to t3 you stopped all further economic and tech expasion until you saw eshez's t3 bots.

You also never really contained Eshez by the time you actually got in his base he had t3 bots to counter you. Instead of saccing your t3 bots over and over against his you should have just tried to contain him more, and seal off any chance of him getting out of his base.

Though your biggest problem is that you didnt tech your mexes fast enough. Eshez had t3 mexes surrounded by mass storage vs 4 t2 mexes on your side + 20 t1 mexes. As a result even though he was in a corner he was outproducing you.

Thx for the review.

I've realized yesterday that a PD costs like 5 T1 units ohmy.gif going to use them much more now, specially on maps like this.

oh well, I played crap but least I've made my first Supcom comeback! biggrin.gif
I do think Basic early game kinda ruled.

Don't know if comeback was the word i would use, when i watched the replay it didn't strike me as if you were on the ropes really, there was one point he took your ACU to 2k hp but apart from that you didn't look as if you were threatened.

He was spread very thin and you were solid with the same economy, that way the minute u went on the counterattack he collapsed very quickly.

Well, I think he could have damaged me better when I was starting to produce those T3 bots, who knows biggrin.gif

Yeah he could have, his units were attacking in waves instead of grouping them up and doing a ctrl move to you.
