I think Funkoff tried to find a path or walk into the path south of the map, but it didn't seem to work or he didn't found it yet.

Yeah, exactly.

I put all units on hold fire for a couple minutes while I tried to get my comm up there.

Now, there are only three little details I found asymetrical about that may, and that part about climbing up there is one of htem... you cannot do it from the left side.

I noticed when you change the camera around the formation of the landscape on the other hillside is actually different, not in a although you can't tell from the original view.

Also even if you could do it on both sides, the angle you see the bottom side at is horrible, it's definitely not a fair sight advantage regardless.

I'd make sure about that. I'll have the game tomorrow to check it out myself, but the description reminds me of the original Open Palms. Before there were ramps, the south side could walk up onto the ramp in one skinny spot while the north couldn't, even though the map was theoretically symmetrical.
