In the beginning, he had an advantage over you with scouts. His forces were able to fire before your's had a chance.
In midgame, he had an definite advantage because he secured his cliff. You didn't. Because of that, his turrets were able to kill DOZENS of your units.
Even though you had a resource advantage, you used it to spam T1 units when your cliff wasn't secured. I would recommend that you priority was securing that cliff either through air power or teching to T2 and getting oblivions. If you had teched to T2 faster than he did and got T2 PD on your cliff, it would've been an easy win for you.
