I guess most wont like this, its a tech and spamfest and pretty long. However, it shows the importance of
- several layers of shields
- commi micro (no joke. You will know what i meant when you see this)
- T3 arty is good when attached to T3 power plants.

Watch, enjoy and comment. I suggest to watch it at 10x speed in the beginning biggrin.gif

This game taught me the radius circle that appears when you select a t3 arty is MINIMUM range.. watch how i dont shoot at anything because i'm thick and always thought it was maximum range.. cost me the game... live and learn i guess...

Fortunally once you sent your air to me, your Emmisary automaticly aimed at my commi due to its targeting priority. However, yes, lots of shots were wasted because your arty was either firing my army or trying to take out random T1 MEX.

But after watching the replay i was pretty happy. I had two T3 artys wired up to two T3 pgens each, obviously massivly increasing their rate of fire. It was amazing to see them shooting in symphony and blasting your commi wink.gif

WTF was this game? I thought you guys are agressive, but this was real turtlefest. Also, your economies, hysteria was one moment running -20k energy and -600 mass. Sion was not doing much better (-1k mass with only 380 production)... Did you make some kind of special agreement before the start or what?

PS Commi micro was actually great and amusing :-)

Well its ISIS. What can you do. You can either turtle or attack and both of us know how hard it is to NOT turtle biggrin.gif
To be honest, i enjoy these games once in a while. You get to make T3 stuff and support units and not only t1 spamfest tongue.gif

Regarding your economy-thingy. You realize at the point you mentioned we were either building T3 arty or strategic missiles, do you ? Because its highly unlikely anyone is able to construct those things with 30 engineers without making a HUGE deficite.

It seems Hysterias plan was to mass Harbingers and break through, but it appears he wasnt fast enough for that. He then adapted and tried air. I had no special plan, on ISIS i always let things evolve.

That commi-micro was tricky indeed. On the other hand, i was very DUMB. I placed my commi at the back of my base, *just* outside the range of an array of 6 T2 AAguns. So i was forced to circle for a whole lot of time since only 2 of those 6 guns were able to shot his gunships.

To be exact, i would suggest to watch this replay only because of what happened at 28 minutes game mark.

I don't know Scion, running a deficit on building something with 30 engies is like building it with 5 without running a deficit. I can actually do that. Recently I have built t3 arty running -20 on mass and being positive on energy. OK, I am not top player and my opponents were not any geniuses either, but it's not like you were building the arty under some huge pressure of incoming attacks...

Whatever, very slow game, I did not really enjoy it, both you and Hysteria produced much better before.

No it's not. It's not the same at all.

When you have more engineers building something.... more of your mass will be directed at that something than other projects. It won't make your total mass increase, just the % of your total mass directed at the project.

FunkOff's right. If you are operating "without running a deficit", all your structures will operate at 100%! But if you directing more engies to one task, all structures will reduce operations to allow these engies to get their fair share of working!

Although Ancient, You neglected reclaiming too much! You had a whole army of SACUs in the field of a previous battle. A simple patrol order would have given a big boost to the production of the first T3 arty.
As for the artys, each was connected to 1 T3Pgen, one just had an additional T2Pgen (but it didn't seem to make a difference)

Nice Circling BTW!!!!! I just wonder if a slalom to the AAs would have worked too! Anyway, under the heat of certain death perfectly mastered! biggrin.gif

the micro was incredibly neat. apart from that, honestly, it didn't seem like that spectacular of a replay-- interesting to see a game like this, but more or less what you'd expect.

curious at some choices though. why so much t2 AA after you already were at t3?

are experimentals really not worthwhile at all compared to sacu's and SABS? a few monkeylords can usually punch through quite a bit of defense, I've always liked them. shrug.
