evryone forgot to build tmd (tactical missile defense)

uef commander nuclear missile is considered a tac missile thus tmd is needed to shoot it down and i didnt see anyone build those thus alll got pwned even the mighty unc would have fallen for that one.


either way its a pure genious and a smart move by dead to do that as no one expected it...

all those anti nukes LOL

acu nuke travels far faster and does 80000 damage as well due to small radia of all tmd it would be very difficult to stop and all navis became under huge threat thou most battleships do have some sort of missile defense thou they are not guaranteed to shoot the missile down...

i tested them acu nukes in sanbox very nice thou make sure there isnt a big hill near by tongue.gif
as well i watched the rep thou i never could pinpoints deads acu due to all those scus littering the area.

I Knew because of simple thing it did not NOT say Strategigic Missile Launch Detected as well cause those nukes were flying at craizy speed LOL.


this game deserves at least 7.5 in rating due to simply as to what DEAD pulled on all the rest it practicly struck fear and anger in all the rest i would say u guys thought he was cheating but in reality he was doin a genious thing and was droping u guys like flies.

Actually I watched closely when nuke passed over Mentel's battleships. The battleship's TMD fired at the missile, but the missile was flying too high(TMD projectile life expired at 50% of the way to nuke). Though if that missile was fired at the battleship, it would be probably lower at that point and would get shot down. Cybran and Aeon would get different results as Cyberan TMD is better than UEF.

Seems kinda imba for nuke to be considered tactical missile. Sure TMD is cheaper to build, but nobody builds them because you have shields and a single tactical missile can't do that much damage. And it is not like you don't have to build anti-nuke against UEF regardless.

You probably couldnt find my commander because I renamed him. Its an interesting little trick that you can rename your commander (you cant remove the entire text, just replace it). I named him "*". Which is hard to see, basically the only way to find him would be to put your mouse over what you think might be him to see if it says ACU or SCU.

Mental located it and attacked him with subs while flying t3 gunships overhead. Got me down to about half health.

Anyway my ACU got over 200 kills just before rapier quit, an extra 3,000 health FTW! (15,000 health woot!)

I did a neat little trick to kill unconq's building duke, if anyone noticed smile.gif.

ACU nuke does 70,000 damage, the same as a regular nuke. Also the ACU nuke travels slower than a regular nuke, much slower. If you fire an ACU nuke at an adjacent big island on that map when the ACU nuke is 3/4's of the way there you can fire a regular nuke and both will contact at the same time.

I did a bunch of sandbox testing to see how to coordinate a regular nuke launcher with an ACU nuke (which was my plan from the start in that game)

Unfortunatly the ACU nuke launcher cost a ton to make (200 metal per tick over 10 mins + tac launcher) and thats alot of time to stand still making it.

Also unfortunatly chat wasnt recorded. When the first nuke hit rapierx's island chat exploded in hallarity. Ar-bee was like LOLOLOLOLOL.

Also bonus points to someone who can figure out why i built alot of aeon t3 sonars (except rapier, ar-bee, and unconq i told them why last night).

Also damn edit button disappearing too fast. Gah.

They were fireing the Anti-torpedoes.

Anyways, I think it is a little unfair that the commander get's a Nuclear Missile considered a tactical missile, that can be fired from underwater, which is cheaper and faster to build than the Ace, has very long range, and cannot be stopped by antinukes. When I thought that the nuke only had the range of the tactical missile I thought it was balanced fine, as you had to risk your commander being next to their base to make good use of it, but as I see now it has much better range that I had thought previously.

But then again zantha a cruiser which has anti missile moves faster than the ACU nuke. And t2 missile defense doesnt need missiles to shoot it down.
