Interesting matchup, I don't understand how you guys keep track and manage everything that is going on on the battlefield there, because I surely cannot do that just watching :-)

Anyway, I had a question. Aren't the ruins interesting enough for you to go there and reclaim them? Because none of you seem to be particularly interested enough in them, Pink eventually reclaimed them, but it was kind of by the way... Aren't they worth it?

I haven't really tested, but the ruins don't seem to give enough mass to make it worthwhile. I should have, however, reclaimed the rocks on my side. =x

Hey guys, my first review here, so bear with me.

The Setting:
The map is Theta Pass, as you can see, and AngrrrryZealot is being a true Aeon Zealot, green and all, in the upper right corner, while Pinky's Pink UEF is sitting in the lower left.

The Game:
It starts off nice, with strong openings. Safe, but good. Good early coverage of mexes, and solid build orders.

Pinky gets his Cmdr up north quick, while AZ stays home making air. The air is used to take out Pinky's HC, which is a heavy blow to his fragile E income.

However, Pinky recovers, and stays in the offensive with his Cmdr. This gets him into serious problems as AZ almost catches him with his pants down in the middle at one point, while also bombing Pinky's Cmdr. Pinky barely makes it back to his PDs that he built, which saves him. Nice work.

I felt the factory upgrading was a liiitle on the slow side, but both players upgraded 3 mexes each first, so it's understandable. And when they did upgrade their facs, they skipped T2 entirely. (Can't wait for the new patch!)

At this point, Pinky got air up, which seemingly caught AZ off guard.

But then T3 bots start coming out, and it's a whole new game.

I won't reveal the exciting ending! Although I will say that... well... it's not all that exciting.

Pros & Cons:

AZ's Pros:- Good use of air, well done crippling Pinky a bit by taking out his HC.
- Nice detail at around 9 mins where you reclaim Pinky's PD up north, when he can't even hit you. smile.gif
- Got PDs up fast when Pinky Cmdr rushed.
- Reclaimed a lot.

AZ's Cons:- Slow expansion after the first mins. Didn't take south soon enough.
- Didn't adjust well to losing air.
- Gave up. smile.gif

Pinky's Pros:- Nice early expansion.
- Good rebuilding and recovery after AZ's air attack.
- Worked well with your air power later on.

Pinky's Cons:- Not enough E.
- When bombed, you should have spread out your AA a bit more, and maybe you could have used your idle Engs down there to repair the HC.
- You maxed and excessed in mass on several occasions. Bad!

All in all, an alright fun game to watch. Most of the interesting stuff happens early in the game, and it almost doesn't matter that we go to T3.

Some semi-sloppy Econ work and reacion, but overall well-played on both sides.
