I recently got stopped by Unconqurable on this map for a rather... "obvious" point I didn't quite catch.
However, learning a lesson from that match, I put to use a different strategy here. Turns out my adversary was, mroe or less, doing the same thing. This match could have gone either way if I were aeon, it's rather hard to tell... but this match makes it very obvious one of the not-sowell known advantages of Cybran: They ain't what they used to be, but hunters are still an asset to the Cybrans, for sure 100%. He has been posting "use hunters in transport as a gunship" in almost every possible thread lol Id assume you got it from him. Anyways, wouldnt it be better to get interceptors once you spotted not only one but TWO of his transport idling in his base ? I can understand you didnt feel like canceling your 75 % ready skyhook, but im not sure...
And when my 5 hunters landed, they got a total of about 60 kills...
And AS, T1 gunships ahve been around forever, it's not something poita thought up just last week... jesus christ
Wow. T1 gunships were NOT been around forever. There for used in the beta until they nerfed in a way that heavy bots couldnt fire from them anymore and their cost was increased. At that point NOONE used them, until Poita began promoting them ~ 3 weeks ago. I have played ~ 80 games since the release and i have seen t1 gunships only after someone posted a replay using them for assasination and after the stuff Poita suggested against Auroras. Thats a fact. You did well, but please dont pretend like it was your original unique idea.
