Supreme Commander

RDon vs. prepare

I got matched against him twice in a row.

The game on Theta occured just after I read Ar-Bee say something along the lines of "prepare has a pretty weak early game, but his economy and late game are very strong".

Fuck you Ar-Bee.

EDIT: I'm sorry Ar-Bee, that was a little too harsh. I should have said "fudge you".

Nice replays.

Game 1 was definitly very cool, that finisher was FTW (as in really FTW)
6/10

Game 2 was somewhat less interesting, basicly you made plently of mistakes. Because you didnt scout, you didnt notice his commander setting up that forward PD. Then you didnt notice his lot of mantis running into your side of the map. Lastly, you suicided your mantis into his forward PD, along with your commi.
3/10

I certainly would like to comment on Ar-Bee as well. Never listen to him. He is the stereotypical guy, always talking like he is important and knows everything, but unfortunally that doesnt really suit his actual skills.

Ya, game 1 is actually a really, really good watch. Lots of things going on simultaneously - good use of tactics and distractions to pull attention away from the "real" threats wink.gif. Just bloody brilliant. It has replay value (as in, replaying the replay) because there are just too many things going on at a single time to track... well at least for me.

i agree game one is totaly good and i enjoyed watching it a lot, game two wasnt all that bad as Ar-Bees theory was totaly disproven and prepare was just a runaway train that couldnt be stoped.

RDon gets thumbs up on his ninja skills thumb.gif ( ph34r.gif )

overall if u are gone pick one of these two to watch make sure its GAME 1 as its far better.

In my defence, I only started playing Cybran a couple of days ago, and haven't quite got the hang of ground spam quite as well as I had it back in beta with the hunter spam. And this was the first game I played on Theta Passage with Cybran, or even against Cybran in a very long time.

Anyways, thanks for the feedback. I mainly posted the second one so I wouldn't look like a shameless self promoter, and to show Ar-Bee how wrong he was.

The second game would have been vastly different if you could have somehow known to avoid his comm with your raid at the top. But that would have required some luck to not lose your scout in the process.

I haven't seen the second one , but the first actually confirm the ArBee statement, prepare was not very offensive in early game, but managed to build a strong eco and was dominating in late game.

But why his com gone Kaboom? surely TML sniping but i was focusing on the air battle.

edit: seen the second one...err....fudge you ArBee?

Really, really amazing.
