The long wait for the release of Supreme Commander 2 is slowly but surely coming to an end. Fans of Supreme Commander, Forged Alliance and of Real Time Strategy games in general will be excited to finally be able to play Supreme Commander 2, a game developed by
Gas Powered Games and published by
Square Enix. The official release date is set to be on the 2nd of March.
GameReplays' goal for the upcoming game is to cater to both beginners and experienced players and provide a place where they can feel comfortable in the community. New players will be provided with a beginners guide that will ease their way into the game so that they can start playing as soon as possible, while veteraned players will find joy in regular tournaments hosted by GameReplays. All audiences will appreciate our Video on Demand section which will feature recorded games commentated on by staff members.
In pre-release stages GameReplays' Supreme Commander 2 section will provide you with every bit of information regarding Supreme Commander 2 that has been released so far. You might be interested in
Trailers, Interviews, and Gameplay footage, or you may want to read what
the features of Supreme Commander 2 actually are or perhaps you are interested in
why to lookout for Supreme Commander 2.
Unlike Forged Alliance, which system requirements were massive, Chris Taylor, founder of
Gas Powered Games, promised that
Supreme Commander 2's system requirements will not be as extreme. In fact, they will even be lower than the two year old Forged Alliance. All this without decreasing the graphical quality of the game.
Furthermore, GameReplays is on the lookout for new staff members who will take part in creating and supporting the Supreme Commander 2 section. As a staff member you will be able to bring your ideas to the table in order to help shape the section and you will also get the chance to serve the community by writing news and creating strategy articles.
Currently we are looking for two Writers and two Strategy Specialists. Becoming one of those isn't hard, so don't panic! Obviously, a good grasp of the English language is needed, however, it is important to note that many of our best staff members speak English as a second or even third language! Our dedicated team of Editors and your fellow staff members will be happy to help you out and becoming a GameReplays staff member is a great way to improve your skills with the language in a way you'll enjoy. So, if you're interested in writing for GameReplays, all you have to do is:
Send myself a PM containing
- A quick introduction about yourself
- Why you're interested in the role
- If you want to be a Writer, provide a sample piece of your writing on any gaming-related topic! Use your imagination and stick with what interests you the most - it will make writing easier. It doesn't have to be long, just focus on the writing, the flow of the piece and what you're trying to convey.
- If you want to be a Strategy Specialist, please inform us about your past history with Real Time Strategy games.
That's all there is to it! We're looking forward to seeing you on staff!
