Yh I was thinking that too oh well smile.gif more epic this way tho (also made alot of other mistakes but oh well I wont list them)

I like getting arty after megalith, but I've never seen an Illu go lolgun -> nuke before. I guess you could have scouted more but I think you could have made better use of your megaliths before you got your arty. You took the pressure off him by backing off whilst you teched for arty, which imho was the main mid game mistake on your part.

The Illu for certain should have gone for air when he saw you go air, that way you might have been forced to try and get adaptors which would have further delayed any offensive plans you had.

Haven't played supcom2 in a while though and I really enjoyed seeing a game where everybody didn't constantly derp. tongue.gif

I dunno I didnt really have much defence against tele (could easily snipe the megaliths then kite my lolists + brackies so unit deto wouldnt help) tbh I think it was his mistake not killing my army when I retreated cause it was sooooo weak against tele snipe.

Air by him is a mistake imo because if he does air thats rp he needs to put into the air to make it effective which means less rp for lol gun which would mean that my bb + megalith 20 min push would just destroy him without the lol gun. Also because bb is so powerful air is kinda useless cause u cant harass the 6 mexes I should be on (if ur tele micro to stop me expanding is good enough).

Overall I thought my main mistakes were, not pulling units back when i saw nuke / not scouting / bad agression in beginning (mainly cause i lost my 3 lolists at back and I did a bad bo)/ not getting bb / accidently upgrading repair rate increase making my unit deto late. Thats all I can think of atm.

Getting cicada might have been a better idea considering he was going land spam. It would have allowed for your loyalist spam to transfer over to late game without getting outscaled by Illu land. Also the lolgun doesn't really work that well against a cicada since it's a force multiplier not a combat unit in itself.

Yh but late game aeon is on 24 mexes while cybran is on 6 so u can easily have 8 land facs as aeon to stop pushes without bomb bouncers (if u manage to get a lolgun and cap the cicada the cybran land blob should just get dominated after that). Although cicada is amazing for pushing (especially if u surround it with lolists and he doesnt have lolgun) so I dunno which is better both are pretty damn amazing and both have different pros and cons imo so I guess its more of a personal preference/changes depending on how the game is playing out.
