Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance

This is a really strange and tough fight

Equi does a interesting drop on Korben and cripples him after helping push bot out of the mid by doubling cmdrs. Then he keeps the pressure on with cruisers. I snipe Tweet and then spend all my small eco on T3 Torp bombers to defend Korben as a utility player instead of teching Eco. BOT is finally trapped and killed in the mid. Bozo makes great use of the time and techs to the power player. One player leaves for some reason after Korben drops on Equi's base.. We hope he thought the game was lost. He gives away an experimental sub and his base or some of it. Be-Set has a huge Eco and controls the mid until the very end where he dies and I nuke the rest of the mid. It is over soon after that. A very tough and strange game to watch.

As of March 2009 this replay has over 400 downloads. I bet this is some sort of record.

Posting these kinds of replays for review is kind of stupid imo. Many people don't have the PCs + reviewing a 2.33mb 4v4 replay would burn you out like hell.

I could see someone reviewing it only from the poster's point of view (and only giving advice to him/her). Just don't expect a full review for all 8 players.

The games description needs more nicknames.

I guess I didnt think reviewing was so formal. I dont see many 4v4 games even posted.

I thought a review would be: Hey this game is great to watch or this game sux.

Well, you should check out some of the reviews already written here. Then u will understand that properly reviewing a 4v4 in that manner is almost impossible.

No its not stupid to post these kind of replays because if somebody is interested in SupCom he prolly(90% of people playing it i assume)have at least dual cores with a moderate Graph. card and i like to watch quality teamgames for example on setons 4v4 like this.
So as for me keep em coming biggrin.gif

Same here. Team games are where the true strategy is! These are like Football games to me, and I'm getting a dual core system soon just so I can watch more at full speed. Keep'em coming!

I disagree. Teamgames, especially 3vs3 and 4vs4 are far less interesting than a proper 1vs1. At one point 4 players usually rush one enemy and then it all comes down if his 3 allies can defend him. Once its a 4vs3 the game is usually decided.

Wow you couldn't be more wrong. Watch the replays behind my name on gpgnet to see games where people win 1 vs 4.
