Not really the most technically superb game I have seen, but a fun game anyway.
I've had 1v1s where I have had GC up pre 15minutes. Took 30minutes before the 1st experimental was seen here.
Ahwassa was a stupid idea aswell really. The ASFs would have torn it up before it got to drop a bomb.
Would have been better with Ythothas tbh.
Loui never really looked threatened tho. Although he played it really slow he sucked up monarchs attacks and reclaimed it for extra mass, then marched in with 2 GCs when he was good and ready.
Not really anything special from monarch here. Looking at it from his point of view all his attacks seemed like shots in the dark with no real thought behind them. The Ythotha attack seemed desperate rather than calculated and it proberly was.
Still a fun game, but ive seen loui play his best and he isnt at it here imo.
Interesting game. I agree with most points made. monarch really wasted a lot of units, especially that Ythotha. I think if the Ythotha had attacked the GC instead of running away, it would've probably won the battle, and maybe even won the game.
Fun to watch, even though Loui just turtled up almost the entire game
GG I think Loui showed good defense skills. He maneuvered his forces well and was ready to meet enemy when he approached close to his bases. Use of mobile forceshields units by Loui gave him considerable advantage. At some point Monarch realized that he should have used mobile forceshields too, and used them but desicion was too late. I don't agree with Necrosef that Loui was inactive by not thretening oponent. He was permanently engaged with defense and when free from attacks he improved his economy. Better economy leads to better units and inevitable victory. Probably what Loui could do is to destroy Northeast base when he had chances. Generally Imho EON don't have good assault units except Galactic Colossus. As soon as it was built, Loui attacked and killed Monarch. Surprisingly Monarch didn't even try to think of something that could stop those 2 GC...
