What you did well
  • Consistent upgrading of mex.
  • Good spread of forces.
  • You anticipated his Jesters and minimized their effect.
What could be improved
  • A little low on factories. I think you could've got a lot more units out.
  • You did reclaim a little but that map has much, much more to offer in wreckages.
  • No radar.
  • I think Thaams would have been better as your early raiding force instead of those combat scouts. They just die to easily and you paid the price because of it.
Summary

Good control of eco and holding map points. You kept your forces back until it was the right time to strike and I think that won you the game. There were opportunities to go to tier 2 in this game but I guess you didn't really need to in the end. One thing you have to watch out for is being careful with your mex upgrades. Everytime you upgrade a mex you are missing out on 900 mass worth of units. That's about 15-20 tier 1 tanks that your opponent might be building. That's just something to think about.

What you did well
  • Nice work with the early raids. You set SuperGuy back quite a lot.
  • Good to see that radar go up early.
  • You reclaimed quite a lot, allowing you to keep up with his economy.
What could be improved
  • I find that as Cybran, it is best to go air factory first. Try going 3 pgen first followed by an air factory for a Jester. You should be able to clear out all his early engineers pretty easily and since the Jester gets veterancy so easily you can often keep it alive for quite some time.
  • A little bit of an early energy stall. Not much but it would be worth refining your build order.
  • You saw that SuperGuy had an air factory but you built Jesters anyway. You should really try to get a bit of air superiority first.

Summary

You played very well and got a lot of land factories up quickly. I just think you could've done more with what you had. When SuperGuy was massing an army outside your base you should of mixed in some Medusa with your mantis so that you could pick off his units from range either forcing him to retreat or attack when he wasn't ready. You should of also tried to put up a PD once his army started moving towards your base.

Decent review ! I just was expecting a couple general thoughts, but this rounds it up pretty well.

After watching the rep, i figured that doing a radar is OMG on this map. It will basicly cover the entire enemy basy. And reclaiming is important here as well. Instead of soaking up rocks, there are several t2 tanks to reclaim. Thanks. One lazy step was superguy advancing with his com. Barely escaping with 700 HP, duris made an excellent choice to at least try to force a draw.

Yeah radar is very strong now. Most people just put it where duris_ did and it works pretty well. You can pretty much just forget about land scouts once you have the radar.

I'm possibly thinking that fast tier 2 might be possible on this map with all the wreckage lying around. Might need some testing.
